The Below Scheme is applicable for PUNJAB CIRCLE.
Promotional offer for Prepaid Sub's closed in LAST 6 months
A promotional scheme is approved for the subscribers, which were
disconnected the period between 1-03-2009 to 31-08-2009 for the
reactivation of these subscribers, detail of the scheme is as under:
a) To regain the old subscribers, below noted schema is launched: -
(1) SIM cost = Rs. 20/-
(2) Talk value = Rs. 30/-
(3) Validity = 180 days
(b) For the subscribers having the same old SIM us at the time of
closure of number, on receiving request from the subscriber and proper
verification, the number will be created by the concerned mobile
section free of cost, after taking application as well as being done for
new connection,
(c) For the subscribers not having the old SIM, on receiving request
from the subscriber, proper verification of subscribers will be ensured
and number will be created by concerned CCN after issuing the new
SIM at cost of Rs. 20/- (including taxes). Application form as well as
CAF would be taken as in case of new connection.
(d) The tariff of BSNL General (New) Plan is as per Punjab Pre-paid
Special Plan and tariff of BSNL Saral Anant (New)
Plan is as per Saral Anant Plan.
(e) The scheme is valid up to 30-09-2009.

Hello Everyone,
After a long time of SevenYears i want to get transfer from my working place Mount-Abu, SSA-Sirohi to my native place Jaipur, and i was thinking that there will be no problem regarding any Departmental Exam or any other Carrier Enhancement when i will join the New SSA. That's why before applying for the Para-8 Transfer form, I visit the recruitment Cell, CGMT office, Jaipur and met with Shri Sadhuramji ( The Official Person who Dealts in all such recruitment work) to discuss what will be the problems i have to face when i will join in the New SSA, specially i want to know whether i can appear in the Departmental JTO exams or Not? because i have already completed Seven years in Sirohi SSA. He clearly say that i can't appear in the JTO Departmental Exam because TTA is the SSA cadre and my service in old SSA will not be count/add in the New SSA service. First I have to complete Seven years again in the New SSA then i can appear in the
Departmental Exam. I discussed him so much but he refused all my argument and say that it will be not possible for me to be appear in the Departmental JTO exam.
Is it true?
It is my request to all those TTA friends who have transfered or trying to be transfer from one SSA to Other SSA that whether you have cleared this fact or not. If you have any rigid and confirm information or any other letter regarding this matter please tell me so that i can proceed further.

There is no problem at all. Everyone fulfilling theh prescribed
qualifying service condition for JTO LDCE would be allowed to appear in
the exam. Go through the below para of Rule 8 (a).
8. Request transfers outside Recruiting unit :
(a) Transfers of employees when desired for their own convenience
shall not be discouraged if they are administratively feasible and can
be made without injury to the rights of others. However, as a general
rule, an employee shall not be transferred from one recruiting unit to
another, either within the same circle, or to another circle, unless
he/she has completed five (5) years of service in the cadre. As it is
not possible to accommodate an employee borne on one gradation list,
into another gradation list without injury to the other members in the
gradation list such transfers shall not ordinarily be allowed except by
way of mutual exchange. Transfer by way of mutual exchange, if
themselves inherently unobjectionable, shall be allowed, but in order to
safeguard the rights of employees borne in gradation list of both the
offices, the employee brought in shall take the place in the new
gradation list that would have been assigned to him/her had he/she been
originally recruited in that unit or the place vacated by the official
with whom he/she exchanges appointment, whichever the lower.
However, for the purpose of eligibility for promotion through
examination not linked with seniority or time bound pay scale up
gradation, service rendered by the employee in the cadre / grade in
the new as well as old circle /SSA shall be counted.
The para in italic clearly implies that the service rendered by the
employee in the cadre/grade in the new as well as in the old circle/SSA
shall be counted for the purpose of eligibilty for promotion through
examination.
Only in case of the promotion linked with seniority the previous service
rendered will not be counted. No problem as there is no post based
promotion in case of non executives.

Hi
It seems that BSNL adminstrators of Rajasthan circle are from England and they only understand English, all others are fools.
Show them the transfer policy as detailed by Vermaji, if you have not shown them earlier
(snatta.org -->latest circulars--> New modified transfer policy of all BSNL employees --> sl no 8 (a) paragraph 2).
A child of class VI can understand this.
But the point is whether you are eligible to get the first time bound upgradtion on completion of 8 years of service. In my view the past service at old unit may not be counted for that purpose. So it is advisable that you move out of the old unit only after you get the first TB Pay Upgradation.
Also there are few more things 1. the promotion policy is yet to be approved 2. there will be minimal difference to your gross and net salary with that promotion ( Rs 300-400 only). So considering the hardship one faces to get a transfer order issued, u have to trade off between the two factors. Whether you want the transfer immidiately to be with your family at your preferred location or wait for another one or two year to get a probable miniscule benefit. ( the TB Pay Upgradtion)
In any case You are 100% eligible for departmental exams.

I think the service rendered will also be counted for TBP. As the rule
says and I once again quote.

upgradation , service rendered by the employee in the cadre /
grade in the new as well as old circle /SSA shall be counted."
I think the as per the above para it is amply clear that the service
rendered in the previous SSA will be counted for TBP also.
