This is a really so called detailed analysis of the problem, now I think that all the snatta members are understand the situations. Every things needs an object oriented study and analysis towards the problem and as usual this time again Mr Dharmenra and Vikas Gupta shown themselves.

Friends this yahoo group is for us and of course by us, so please discuss the healthy topics like these two guys set the examples.

This issue needs some clarifications. First and foremost SNATTA is trying to get the higher pay scale for TTA i.e. above 7100-200-10100. As far as fitment formula goes it is and will be applicable to the TTAs recruited before 01.01.2007 only. The Pay Revision is basically to compensate the employees for the loss in salary incurred in the previous service and not for the future service. Even in the case of JTOs only the JTOs who were selected prior to 2007 are being asked to give the fitment. Shri Vikas K. Gupta has also pointed out that the JTOs recruited after 01.01.2007 is not even talked about for fitment.

 

DRJTO batch of 2005 is justified in asking for fitment as they were recruited before 2007 but some of them were sent on training after or in the year 2007 for no fault of theirs. This situation is not to be the case in DRTTA. We are literate enough to understand this simple logic. The TTAs who have served for more than 7 years would obviously draw more salary than the TTA recruited recently. The difference of Rs.6000 or 7000 as shown by Shri Rajesh Kumar is not big enough if you see the full rationality behind the justification. The Annual increment+ 7% average increase in D.A will amount to nearly this much only.  Now some one has said that by this formula DOT TTAs should get 3 or 4 times the salary than the DRTTA of 2002 batch. Again this shows the immaturity and lack of proper analysis of the situation. The DOT TTAs are not there for 26 years. The DOT TTAs were earlier Casual Technicians/ Technicians and were promoted to the TTA cadre in 1994-96. After 5th Pay Commission they were given scale of Rs. 5000/- (i.e.7100-200- 10100) on 01.10.2000 and we were recruited in the year 2002. Till today there is a difference of over 5000 b/w a DRTTA 2002 and DOTTTA and still it will increase after implementation of promotion policy and pay revision and as per you and also me it is justified as they have given more service (approx. 6-8 years) as TTA than you and me. The same is the case with DRTTA 2002 and (2007&8).

 

The fact is that you will get more salary from the one at present and there is no second thought on it. But the fitment of 30% is not possible as even the date of exam is after 01.01.2007. Yes as per Shri Vikas K Gupta Ex- Member Wage Committee, SNATTA it has been clarified that SNATTA has asked for higher pay scale for TTA and if accepted this would benefit all the TTA of 2007&8 batch only and DRTTA of 2002 batch will not get any benefit out of this as higher pay scale would be applicable from 01.01.2007 only.

 

Dear Rishi, Girish and Rajesh and others please make it a point that when ever you have some questions and doubts or objections, simply don't raise a finger towards SNATTA. You guys have just asked from SNATTA about its views on pay scales. Has any one of you have taken pain in reading the Recommendations on Wage by SNATTA placed on website. If yes then you should have elaborated the contents which made you think otherwise. DRTTAs like you who are very well educated and literate and an engineer too should have written with clear suggestions from your side as to how to approach the problem if it arises as is expected from a DR TTA.

I again request all the Engineers to please elaborate the contents and meaning behind your mail. Just don't vent out any frustration or misconception in few words.
