dear mahesh,
if ur OCLAN is of siemens make and Tier I is UTSTARCOM, then it is a compatibility problem. After log in to BNG before pinging, use the command #clear arp-cache (ENTER), wait for 10-15 second, then ping. u should get reply immediately. don't reboot the converter. otherwise change the converter and check.

I am facing one prob that my one oclan site have to do hard reboot of FENGINE converter in every day other wise it don't ping to BNG.

which other sites has disturbed .My oclan ip - 10.238.116.73
kindly solve my probs with send advise ..........
