Yes I also think That in the revised pay scale of BSNL for non executive, the newly recruited TTA's are kept far behind from others..we should think over this matter very seriously..and act very promptly..

Here it is told by staff section that if we choose option as Jan-07, Arrear with revised pay will be given from Jan-10. DNI will remain unchanged. That is what we want. Option will matter for those who got OTBP/BCR between 2007 & 2010. The calculator is ready and is sent to some for testing purpose. After that i will send to post it o group.

Dear friend,
If your basic pay as on 01.01.2007 is 7700 then your revised scale would be 7700*2.194=16893.8(rounded off to next 10 is 16900). Let your date of next increment is 1st March. On 01.03.2007 you get an increment of 3%. So your basic pay becomes 17407. Let you select the date of next increment as your option for wage revision. So, you will not get any revision or arrear upto February 2007(loosing two month's benefits i.e.3179*2=6358).On 01.03.2007 you get an increment of 200 and your basic pay becomes 7900. You will get revision on this amount. i.e.7900*2.194=17340.

PC Troubleshooting and Maintenance guidelines
1. Clean the local disk (C or D) regularly (Monthly)

10. Always keep firewall ON to avoid unauthorized access of
your PC from internet
Go to properties of Local area connection, click on Advanced,
go to windows firewall settings, click ON (recommended).
11. If your computer is losing its time or date setting, or
you are receiving a message CMOS Read Error,CMOS checksum error, or CMOS
Battery Failure, first attempt to leave the computer on for 24 hours. In
some cases this can charge the battery and resolve your issue. if this
does not resolve your issue, change the CMOS round type battery with
correct specification. it will cost Rs 20/-appox.before changing the
battery ,write down all system settings.Once the battery is replaced
turn on the computer and enter all system settings back into CMOS.

How to check the IP configuration in your Computer
To view IP configuration of your PC, simply enter the following
commands.
Press the start Button

This will show the IP configuration of your computer.
Note down your IP address, subnet mask and default gateway.
To check the of Local Area Connection(Enable/Disable)

If Disabled
Right click on Local area connection
Click on Enable
Always keep the local Area connection Enabled.
To check the Network cable
· Check the green lamp on LAN Card.
· If no green lamp, jack-out the cable, remove the dust on
RJ-45 connector & jack-in .
· Check the network cable from I/O box to PC.

Hi Pradeep,
Basically for roaming in EVDO , the indicator has to be changed. With seven digit indicator as per rules, the no. has to work as WLL. Since roaming has to be implemented hence the series has to be changed from seven digits to ten. (ofcourse punjab is providing roaming with changing to ten digit indicator, it is wrong, the customer may face problem at some time down the line.)
Every circle and in turn every SSA has been alloted a separate 10 digit indicator for EVDO roaming purposes and these levels are also to be opened in SSTP so that the customer will get 1X where DO is not available. But most important thing is the PRL for all india roaming to be configured with the CDMA instead of that for zonal roaming. For more details u may also contact me on 9422268970. (All we are in the process of testing roaming on RUIM also).

yes it has been implemented. There is no letter with me as such. But our customers have been roaming down south and even north. Even customers from rajasthan , punjab are using DO in Nasik during tour.

The Centre is considering a proposal to waive to off a significant part of
the Rs 1,6750.58 crore that the public sector telcos � BSNL and MTNL � will
have to pay for 3G spectrums in a bid to safeguards the cash reserves of the
two firms. This may also extend to monies that the two telcos will have to
cough up for the broadband wireless spectrum auctions that it slated to
begin later this week or Monday (May 24).
The government is also examining two alternative proposals to stabilise the
financials of BSNL. The first involves refunding a significant amount it
will have to pay for 3G spectrums. But if this refund option is unviable,
the Centre may allow BSNL to defer payment for these airwaves until the
telco completes its restructuring process.
This will give BSNL a 24-month window to pay for the airwaves, unlike
private operators which have only have 10 day to cough up the bid amount. In
addition to the Rs 10,186.58 crore that BSNL will have to pay for 3G
airwaves and assuming that it will have to shell out upwards of another Rs
7,000 crore for broadband spectrum, this will wipe out nearly 50% of its
cash reserves, which stands at Rs 36,392 crore.
Earlier this week, telecoms regulator recommended that operators holding
more than 6.2 MHz of 2G spectrum pay for it at rates determined during the
ongoing auction of 3G frequencies. This means BSNL will have to shell out an
additional Rs 2670.57 crore while MTNL will have to fork over Rs 3455.29
crore.
Any reduction in its cash reserves will push BSNL further into the red, as
over the last two years, it has used its interest from cash reserves to prop
up its financials.
For instance in 2007-08, BSNL recorded a profit of Rs 3,009 crore, but the
telco generated an interest income or Rs 5,204 crore from its cash reserves,
helping it to tide over reality that its expenditure is more than its sales.
Again, in 2008-09, its profit was Rs 575 crore despite a interest income of
Rs 5,543 crore.
Falling revenues from landlines and the three-year delay in expansion
contracts for its mobile networks are likely to result in BSNL declaring its
first loss for the year to March 2010, since it was corporatised a decade
ago.
BSNL is yet to declare its results for 2009-10 but an analysis of the
company�s financials by the communications ministry showed the firm slipped
into a loss despite receiving Rs 2,600 crore as grants from the government
to support its landline business. The company also received Rs 3,080 crore
as interest from its bank deposits, during this period.
BSNL executives are slated to meet top the Department of Telecom and
communication ministry officials over the next couple of days to discuss the
proposed bailout.
The government had set a target of Rs 35,000 crore from the 3G and broadband
auction combined. BSNL executives point out that even if the telco were to
be given a waiver, the Centre would rake in Rs 50,968.37 crore from the 3G,
with braodband auctions to follow, exceeding its targets by a huge margin.
Private telcos point out that giving any concessions to BSNL and MTNL would
further distort the level playing field as the government had already given
the state-owned telcos a headstart by giving them 3G and broadband wireless
frequencies 18 moths prior to auctions. An executive with a private telecoms
company pointed out that PSUs were seeking additional concessions to hide
the fact failed to build a sizeable customer base to their 3G services
despite the 18-month headstart.
The Centre had defied telecom regulator Trai and reserved one slot of 3G and
broadband wireless access spectrum for BSNL and MTNL ensuring that these
telcos could stay away from the auction process. BSNL executives however
share the view that any moves by the government to consider their case is
not a new precedent and the Centre has provided reimbursements to the telco
in the past.
