3. Keyboard Special Characters__

Characters - Alt Keyboard
Sequences
To obtain an ALT Character:
1. Make certain that the
Num Lock key has been pressed to activate the numeric key
section of the keyboard.
2. Depress the Alt key.
3.
While the Alt key is depressed, type the proper sequence of
numbers (on the numeric keypad) of the ALT code from the table
above.
4. Release the Alt key, and the character will
appear.
5. On a laptop computer, there usually is no
numeric keypad. So, instead, depress the Fn (function) key,
then the Alt key, then the numerical code sequence. The
numbers are on the fronts of certain keyboard keys: M=0, J=1,
K=2, L=3, U=4, I=5, O=6, 7=7, 8=8, and
9=9.
*There are some gaps in the numerical
sequence of ALT Character codes because either those items do
not exist, or else they are duplicates of characters listed
elsewhere. Many Special ALT Characters, Special HTML
Characters, and Special <Font Face="Symbol"> Characters
are the same.
Some word processing programs and
browsers will not recognize all Alt characters.

BSNL to provide 3G telecom services at affordable prices
NEW DELHI: State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) will provide third
generation (3G) telecom services at affordable rates and bridge the
rural-urban digital divide, company chairman and managing director Kuldeep
Goyal said.
3G services facilitate faster connectivity and enable applications such as
Internet TV, video-on-demand, audio-video calls and high-speed data
exchange.
"By making 3G services affordable in India, BSNL is ultimately facilitating
socio-economic development of the masses through applications such as
telemedicine, e-education and e-governance," Goyal said on the eve of the
World Telecommunication Day on May 17.
He said the company would make all efforts to bridge the rural-urban digital
divide in the country.
Under the government's Bharat Nirman programme, BSNL will provide high speed
wireless broadband connectivity to 11,500 common service centres and connect
50,000 such centres.
"BSNL is committed to taking India into the next league of telecom supremacy
by providing technologically advanced services to its discerning customers
at an affordable cost. In the emerging digital communications era, BSNL is
optimising its quality telecom network," he said.
At present, BSNL offers services in 354 cities in the northern, eastern and
southern parts of the country, except Delhi and Mumbai, and has 1.25 million
subscribers.

As the alloted time was about 3 mintues so couldn't higlight in details about the injustice and betrayal of BSNLEU towards the SNATTA'ns. But within the 6 minutes of speech I have address the Nambodri in particular and the Union as a whole that they shouldn't forget and neglect the Dr recruitted TTA, who are the qualified technocrates, young , energetic and the Visioneries of the modern era who are working for the better future of the BSNL and he should be happy to have this SNATTA's in their organisation. Dear frnds,
All india roaming in BSNL network is available throughtout india and even Punjab customer can roam in other zones. The necessary changes are recently done in PDSN servers. Previously it used to be zonal roaming but now all india roaming , except m'bai and delhi has been implemented. On the top of it we are also in the process of launching the CDMA voice and data roaming with RUIM. Not provided data services to BSNL customer in MTNL areas is definately a flaw. The customer base can be drastically improved if we come over it. But I am not sure whether CDMA 20001x or DO is available in MTNL regions.

EVDO and NIC works well in India.
EVDO sites are more than Reliance and TATA. but the only advantage to private operators is that they have all india roaming and tie ups in Delhi and NCR Region where BSNL CDMA Data Cards does not works. And surprisingly most of the data card potential lies there. Also BSNL mgmt. and BSNL Unions didn't try even once to pursue this matter to get great revenue and satisfaction among data Card users.
One thing more roaming is not available for whole India ....e.g, punjab subscriber can roam/use data card only in North Zone.
The Usage of Data Card is limited to Zones only. BSNL still could not implement all India Roaming for Data Cards even after approx. 3 yrs of launching the services. This is all because of relaxing attitude of some executives. They are more interested in drawing higher salaries than thinking (implementing) big for Our Company. Every Single Move Counts in this highly Competitive environment.
I wish i would be the head of Marketing Section of BSNL then i could not have left any stone unturned from my end.
Only god knows what will happen to our Company.?? Nowadays, i am even surprised to see the negative attitude of some Newly recruited TTAs. They are showing irresponsible, unfriendly and unprofessional behavior towards customer's complaints. i hope that guy is reading my mail and correct his approach to work ethics. They will only realize after few years when they didn't get any promotions and higher salaries. The older Dr.TTAs have suffered the most in BSNL and i really appreciate the zeal of some of my colleagues in Chd SSA (like Rajeev Mandal, Kanwarjit, Lajja Ram, Manoj Sharma, Rajiv Verma, Gurbinder, Gagan etc.. ) who are still delivering their BEST after feeling dissatisfied (from BSNL mgmt) over the years.
i request everybody to keep your Spirits alive..!!!!
