definately this problem is concerned with splitter or rj-11 cords.some time these cords are gone faulty due to moisture.if u will inspect properly u will find some blackish thing on cords connecting jacks

hi friends,

one thing more* Don't use G.dmt* mode alone in modulation section of *Teracom
Modem Type-2 Wireless*.

*Pls tick or check mark all the modulation options* in Teracom Type-2 modem,
there is flaw in this modem which makes ADSL unstable after 5 mins in some
batch/lot of this modem. so better to use all modes in this particular
modem.* Else G.dmt mode is best suited for stability and longer distance DSL
routing. We can use G.dmt mode in all the modems happily except teracom
type-2 wireless modem.**

thats y i asked abt the make...teracom& sherma tech modems hav IPTV
facilities.in our SSA by changing profile to 6 Mb/s,w had solved the ADSL cut
problem. but v faced the problem only with the above said two modems.pl check
abt loop resistance for the whole pair from sub end to mdf.check insulation
level.hav u tried the case with any other modems? banthan is giving some trouble
shooting chart.pl make a try accoring to that...however problem to be solved
with a good finding.... pl ask ur NIB people for some assitance...

first pl tell the make of ur modem...if it belongs to shirma technlogies or
teracom, then make some firmwere updations.they r available in their web
sites...n ask for NIB people to change the profile of the concerned account from
2 Mb/s to 6/8 Mb/s.....after a very long period only v found this way for
rectification. ... don check the cable pair then and there....check once...thats
more than enough....pl try it.. there is no need to change any thing from
CDOT/OCB side...for a BB conxn even dial tone is not required...

hi,
Pl chk the SNR value in MDF, Next in pillar (use WLL chrger to power ur modem,
laptop),
This two will give u clear idea were the fault is...

1. Use LED in the cable pair without connection from MDF, if the cable pair has
foriegn voltage, LED will glow.
2. Chk for loop resistance from MDF to pillar, if it varies abnormally, go for
other pair,

For me it took around 80 pairs to make through an MLLN connection.
Try ur best.
Never give up...

i m vry much worried abt the word "JE" in respect of NEPP & FPMS. Evrybdy is loving the word JE in poll, bt i m sure, ths will b the biggest mistake by us to accept this designation. Its my personal request to all, plz rethink & then act accordingly. Why u guys r overlooking the STAFFING NORMS, NEPP & FPMS while voting for designation.

in our ssa the process for the implementation of NEPP has allready been started
as all the officials has exercised their options. the management is commited to
clear the 1st batch by 31.7.2010. the first batch includes all the tta and sr
toa. the up-to-date CR of these officials has allready been called for.

After 2 years of selfless service, a man realized that he has not been promoted, no transfer, no salary increase no commendation and that the Company is not doing any thing about it. So he decided to walk up to his HR Manager one morning and after exchanging greetings, he told his HR Manager his observation. The boss looked at him, laughed and asked him to sit down saying;

My friend, you have not worked here for even one day.

The man was surprised to hear this, but the manager went on to explain.

Manager:- How many days are there in a year?

Man:- 365 days and some times 366

Manager:- how many hours make up a day?

Man:- 24 hours

Manager:- How long do you work in a day?

Man:- 8am to 4pm. I.e. 8 hours a day.

Manager:- So, what fraction of the day do you work in hours?

Man:- (He did some arithmetic and said 8/24 hours I.e . 1/3(one third)

Manager:- That is nice of you! What is one-third of 366 days?

Man:- 122 (1/3x366 = 122 in days)

Manager:- Do you come to work on weekends?

Man:- No sir

Manager:- How many days are there in a year that are weekends?

8. MOST URGENT >>> Suggestion for Change of AIC meeting date.

Dear *SNATTAians and SMARTians*,

As per my opinion the date of AIC should be before October commences as we
will be left with no time to think as verification is coming. so we should
have plenty of time to think and act. *Earlier the Meeting better it is for
SNATTA.*

*In my opinion, best dates could be 10, 11 and 12 September for the meeting.
10th is a RH off, 11 is a TH off and 12th is Sunday off.** So all days are
OFFs.*
list of holidays in 2010 is also attached with this mail for your reference.

*one of the other reason* for suggesting a change in the AIC meeting
schedule is the Annual Award ceremony date clash with the meeting. *Every
year BSNL office celebrates BSNL day on 1st october* and gives award to some
meritorious employees. some TTAs also get this award every year. so some one
might miss the bus if we have AIC on near that day. In Punjab, the award
ceremony held in chandigarh so to give support to the TTA cadre (if someone
gets it) i wish to attend the ceremony. Previously my friend Harmeet Singh
Bedi got this award and i was with him full day for his support.* Even if no
TTA gets it we should attend the celebrations of BSNL Day.*

i really want to be a part of the AIC this time as on all previous occasions
i could not participate because of some unavoidable circumstances. But this
time i will make it sure.* i really want to meet every Dynamic TTA coming
from different parts of the India. And i think they wanna meet me too.*

anyway..i can humbly put up a suggestion for you all people to think. Last
Decision is always remains to CHQ. i know if u people raise the voice then
definitely CHQ will change the date.

*i hope you will definitely give a second thought to it and convince CHQ for
date Change*.*

BSNL objects inclusion of Jhunjhunwala on search panelNEW DELHI: Raising
objections to inclusion of Ashok Jhunjhunwala, who is already on the boards
of various private telecom operators, in the committee for selection of CMD,
an employees association of BSNL on Thursday said there would be "conflict
of interests."

"The committee normally should not have had any one having widespread
business interests in the telecom industry as its member. This can lead to
conflict of interests," representatives from the Sanchar Nigam Executive
Association (SNEA), an executive association of BSNL, told PTI.

The employee association SNEA has also written to the Telecom Minister A
Raja to look into the matter.

*Jhunjhunwala is, at present, on the board of directors of TTML, SBI, Tata
Communications, Tata Indicom, Exicom, Polaris, Sasken, Tejas, 3I Infotech,
the Association said. *

"His inclusion could lead to compromising the decision of the committee,"
SNEA added.

They further alleged that his inclusion in the committee as a part of a
larger and meticulously calibrated move of the private service providers to
influence the decision of the selection process so as to push through their
commercial agenda in BSNL.

The present CMD of BSNL, Kuldeep Goyal, is scheduled to retire this month.
He had also said that he had not sought extension of his tenure. In that
case, the committee mandated for selection of the CMD has to act fast.
However, in the backdrop of the complaints, the process might get further
delayed.

The government has formed a six-member search-cum- selection committee,
headed by the Cabinet Secretary, to scout for new CMDs for the two telecom
PSUs.

Other members of the panel are Secretary (Personnel) Shantanu Consul,
Telecom Secretary P J Thomas, IIM Ahmedabad professor Sameer Barua and IISC
Bangalore professor N Balakrishnan.

The association also said that the scope of the committee should be
expanded. The committee should also be mandated to select the Board of
Directors of BSNL.

BSNL, MTNL may delay number portability: TraiThere are growing signs that
the implementation of mobile number portability may miss its freshly set
October 31 deadline, this time because government-run firms BSNL and MTNL
are unprepared.

Telecom regulator Trai has written to DoT saying, "the Authority is
apprehensive that unless DoT, which is the administrative department for
these PSUs, takes a firm commitment from them, their lack of action will
continue to result in further delay in the implementation of MNP."

Trai points out that India is one of the few countries where the subscribers
have yet to enjoy the benefit of MNP and a repeated extension of timelines
is not advisable. MNP allows subscribers to change their mobile service
provider while retaining their existing mobile number. Since MNP unleashes
genuine competitive pressures, its biggest upside is a marked improvement in
quality of service. It could also marginally reduce tariffs in areas like
international roaming and value-added services where there is insufficient
price competition.

According to Trai, it recently called for the latest status report from both
the MNP status providers Telcordia and Syniverse, which showed that all the
service providers are at various stages of testing except BSNL and MTNL.
"While BSNL is yet to start testing as its MNP gateway is not ready, MTNL is
still in the process of placing the purchase order".

MNP was to have been implemented in 2009, but has met with severe resistance
from operators. More recently, the deadline for its implementation was
shifted first to March 31, 2010 and then extended to June 30 and later to
October 31. It also ran into trouble with the home ministry and the FIPB
over security clearances, but has been jinxed over one or another count
since it was first announced. "DoT is requested to take necessary action for
MNP implementation so that it is implemented before October 31, 2010 and
that there is no further extension of MNP implementation date,� Trai writes.

Hiii Friends,

I would like to inform the CHQ and CC Punjab about the injustice done by the Admin section of Hoshairpur SSA Punjab.My SSA Head Nominate my name for "SANCHAR SEWA PADAK" and this will inform to me telephonically by DGM. DGM asked to send ur resume today positively.I sunmit my resume on same date.In the mean time our GM went to leave.when after some some days i enquired about my case from DGM(Admn) he assured me that he will look the matter.I had sent a below noted message to GMTD.
SIR TODAY I HAVE COME TO KNOW FROM A RELIABLE SOURCE THAT MY CASE REGARDING SANCHAR AWARD STILL NOT FORWARD TO CIRCLE INSPITE OF SUBMITTING RESUME ON SAME DATE.SIR, WORK IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANY TYPE OF AWARD FOR ME . WHAT HURTING ME TODAY IS MY BELOVED DEPARTMENT PLAYED WITH MY EMOTIONS.
As a result of this message they asked me to submit my ACRs and that will also be submitted on same date.again they wasted two days for converting my resume with his language ie conversion from "I had done" to "He done" which was very painful me as i was present there.
They forward my case when the process of DPC over and the name forward to CO.Inspite of delay they submit my case at the reception of CGM office. and when i again enquire the matter from CGM Office they replied me that UR CASE IS STRONG BUT U MISS THE TRAIN.
In protest i will send below noted message to CGMT PUNJAB
RESPECTED CGM SIR MYSELF TTA(SALES) TANDA SSA HOSHIARPUR WANT TO SAY THAT ADMIN SECTION OF MY SSA PLAYED WITH MY EMOTIONS AND HARASHED ME. DUE TO SOME OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS WORTHY GMTD RECOM. MY NAME FOR SANCHAR SEVA PADAK WHAT THEY DONT FORWARD THE CASE TO DPC NOT IN TIME. SIR IS THIS TYPE OF DELAY BENIFICIAL FOR BSNL AND IS IT JUSTIFIED TO PLAY WITH THE FEELINGS OF NON EXECUTIVE WHO MADE REVOLUTION IN MARKETING WITH ROADSHOWS AND FREE SIM CAMPS.

Now the question arise in the whole episode what was my fault is it my responsibilty to send ACRs to ADMIN section.this whole episode hurt my feelings a lot becase first they recom my name they why they late my case. Its my request to CHQ and circle CC Punjab i fight beyond my limits now will u raise send my voice at DELHI so that i got justice. I dont want any type of AWARD i wnat that admin section should me punished so that they dont do it again with any employee. I have attached all my achievements with this mail.
I ALREADY DONE EVERYTHING IN THIS CASE FOR THE DIGNITY OF SNATTA TILL NOW I HAVE NOT UP MY HANDS I WANNA TO FIGHT TILL I M ALIVE REGARDING THIS TYPE OF INJUSTICE . PLZ READ MY MAIL AND ITS ATTACHMENTS . THEY INSULTED MY WORK WHICH HURT ME MORE AS I HAD DONE THIS FOR BSNL.
