            A training course on EWSD (I, O AND M ) 6 weeks is conducted by ALTTC Ghaziabad from 03/August 2009



            T.T.A. are generally not permitted in ALTTC for training. But now for this course T.T.A. may be allowed with SSA recommendation.



            I am in regular touch of D.E. (SW ) ALTTC Sh J K Sharma 9968630015 Sir regarding my training on EWSD.



           A DR T.T.A. friend from my SSA had completed a 2 week training programme on EWSD from ALTTC Ghaziabad. During training period he pursue to allow DR - T.T.A.  for 3 or more week training then GM and other officers vervally allowed for same and ask that if DR-TTA (working in EWSD Swithch ) are coming for training then ALTTC will consider.

     If any Friend woking in EWSD Switch and interested for training then sent their nomination from SSA. and connect Sh J K Sharma Sir DE (SW) ALTTC on 996830015.

He is a very nice and intelligent person.

           This is my bad luck when ALTTC allow me (DR TTA ) for training but my SSA Head not allowed me for 6 Week training. He is interested for 2 week training.

    So friend this is a golden chanse for us.

Course Description :
The course is designed to give adequate skills to the participants to install, operate & maintain an EWSD System. Topics covered are - System Architecture: DLU, LTG, SN, CP, MB, CCG, SYP, CCNC, Call Set up, CCS7, Application Program System (APS), EWSD Operations, Man Machine Communication, System Administration, Subs Administration, ISDN Administration, V5.2, Routing, Charging Administration including IACHASTA, Traffic Administration, Network Administration, Physical Installation, APS Loading, Commissioning, A/T, Planning & Dimensioning, Documentation, EWSD Maintenance Philosophy, Line & Trunk Testing, Emergency Concepts, Concept of Telecom Assistance Centre, Charge Band Concept in CCS #7, Patch Implementation Procedures. Throughout the course strong emphasis is placed on the participants acquiring operating skills through lectures, discussions, hands-on practice on the EWSD Training Model Exchange. The network conditions for various practical sessions are simulated using different training model exchanges (AXE-10, 5ESS, CDOT MBM,Nokia-GSM) installed in ALTTC. A visit to a nearby working EWSD Exchange is also arranged to demonstrate maintenance of a working exchange. This being a Technology course of 2 weeks or more,POST TRAINING EVALUATION will be conducted.

Learning Objectives :
Have basic knowledge of the EWSD architecture. Install and carry out system tests for commissioning of EWSD. Carry out day-to-day O&M function of EWSD system. Carryout first level maintenance of EWSD exchange. Incorporate Patches supplied by M/s Siemens into the exchange.

Target Population :
DEs/ SDEs/ JTOs likely to be engaged in the Installation, Operation & Maintenance of EWSD exchange.

Prerequisites:
DEs/ SDEs/ JTOs likely to be engaged in the Installation, Operation & Maintenance of EWSD exchange.

Faculty which is conducting the Course: SW (SWITCHING)

1. The eligibility of the officers must be ensured with respect to prerequisites before nominating them.

2.  Hereafter no 'B' Circular will be issued.. In case of LSC(Limited Seat Courses),the Training Centre will confirm the nominations. For other courses, all the nominations can be treated as Confirmed.

3.  The officers nominated for a course may be advised to go through the Training Website to check their nominations status before booking their journey tickets.

4.   Officers may be requested to bring their copy relieving order/nomination letter for identification .

5.. In exceptional circumstances, if any course is cancelled or postponed after the issue of `A` Circular, information will be displayed on the Training Website.

6. It has been noticed that some trainees get ill during the training and they required to be hospitalized. In such cases, details of MRS card is required to be furnished to the Hospital. Hence Trainees are requested to bring a photocopy of the MRS Card alongwith them.
