I fell sorry to say that from where SNATTA got its birth ,the people from there are

not belonging to SNATTA.What happen to Punjab why you people are so

aggressive . Have patience think elaborately before putting your cheap comments

for each other . If you don't fell proud to be a member of SNATTA then you have no

hi Munish..

you did a good job by elaborating all the pros and cons of association.
I think everybody should learn from your saying.
but one thing more i want to add here that we should conduct CEC Conference soon and sort out all the matters amicably and if not then by democratically. there is no harm in conducting any conference it will definitely boost the faith among fellow memebers only. it does not matter if we conduct CEC in Ludhiana, jallandhar, amritsar or chandigarh. but we should conduct it in a convenient location for everybody. And it would be obvious that what ever SSA conducts CEC they have to arrange all.
The problem of Ludhiana need to be addressed immediately, as we are reading a lot of stuff from everybody so if there is a SMOKE then there must be some FIRE.
And Change is the only Constant in life.
So we should not worry about the change at any level just think about the positive change only. How we can channelise the energies of all members in a proper & positive way & direction.
i personally not against anyone but if there is any problem then there should be some solution as well. so we need to dig out and find the answer soon.

i am also very much depressed to know about some differences among Shailender Saraswat (including around 60+ members) and Mr.Hakam Singh.
i already advised Hakam that Ludhiana problem need to be solved so we can work upon other issues of TTAs rather than accusing each other and weakening the Unity of SNATTA. i request both sections to sit again at a common place and resolve their differences. And also there is a need of Circle Conference in Punjab before AIC as per CHQ order.

Dear members,
I have been forced to write on this  platform after a long time. Every day I am seeing mails using very very bad language by some of the members of SNATTA blaming each other. Somebody is writing to organise CEC/Conference, some are supporting this while some are opposing it. Everybody is busy in insulting other more each time. SNATTA was organised as an association for achieving some goals but not a union and we can not make a union with such no of TTAs only and at that time nobody dare to become leader of SNATTA. I remember the days when first DEC was organised in Ferozepur SSA and there were only 5 TTAs from whole SSA and 7 others from Circle including Mr. Hakam Singh, Mr. Tejinder Singh were there, even no TTA from local ferozepur was there out of 15-20. Some TTAs was saying about problem in home, some saying for sickness of wife, mother or children. That was the time to dare to come out of BSNLEU/NFTE/Others unions but at that time
nobody dare to face these unions consequences for going to SNATTA meeting. The old leaders had worked hard for SNATTA to reach on this peak and what we are honouring them for their hardwork done. We are blaming them for this or that thing only for our personal mottos. Its my challenge if there were not these leaders at that time then today there was no SNATTA in punjab. Mr. Hakam or Mr. Tejinder are not my relative but i respect them for their good work done in punjab to organise TTAs of Punjab. If TTAs of Ludhiana or Jalandhar are not agree with the circle body then why whole punjab should go with them to dissolve the body. It is the majority who select any leader of any organisation. A CEC was called in ludhiana by SNATTA by well informing each and every representative ( a poll result can be conducted) and a decision was taken by that CEC to continue same body till further meeting/decision/conference, then what is wrong in it. Then Where is
SNATTA unity if we don't want to respect that supreme house decision. If majority had decided to continue the same body then why an individual is talking to dishonour that supreme house decision. If tomorrow a new body created and i objected on that with some of my close friends on this platform then would the new body would be dissolved again and how long this will continue.
We are well educated community in BSNL and we are behaving like illetrate people. Some things we achieved by pressurising BSNLEU are only and only due to SNATTA unity not due to our strength but due to our brain. Others unions think that we are educated community and they afraid that we are capable of break their members by educating them or by helping them in their routine work. So these things that are happening on this platform will bring bad consequences in name/fame of SNATTA. If our broken unity shown to other unions then they will beat us individually and nobody will help us. You can see the example of unity in other unions however they are illetrate but they are unite. If their single man say to do something then all go behind him but not thinking about the consequences/personal motto. THATS IS UNITY. I remember the words of BLIND HORSE said by District Secy BSNLEU to his members and that is and that is unity.
So my dear SNATTAians don't go in game of politics. Just learn to respect the chair assigned to any person by the house of association.

* Dt 01-09-2010Brief on the Item numbers 2/3/21 and 22 of the 24th NCM. *

On the issue of Pay Protection to the Non Executive employees recruited on
and after 01.01.2007 by way 30% fitment benefit, management and staff side
argued their viewpoint strongly. Management side has accepted that the pay
protection formula envisaged in the Wage Orders is not at all effective to
address the issue and thus a comprehensive formula has to be devised to
solve the issue at one go. *Sh. Dharmendra Verma, General Secretary, SNATTA
and Sh. Dhiraj Chaudhary, Founder General Secretary, SNATTA* vehemently
demanded the 30% fitment only on the same lines as given to the JTO (T)
recruited after 01.01.2007. Since the management side insisted on some other
formula as compensation, it was agreed to sit outside the National Council
under the Chairmanship of *Sh. D.P. De, General Manager (Estt), BSNL,
Corporate Office* to explore the ways to solve the issue. *It has happened
first time ever that the issue will be continued in the NCM till it is
resolved even though a separate committee will look into it*. CHQ will make
all out efforts to get the genuine right of the DRTTAs recruited after

* SNATTA CHQ makes an appeal to all our members to give their all out effort
to get maximum benefit in terms of revenue to BSNL. Leave aside your grudges
and work wholeheartedly to bring BSNL back to its earning ways. Our efforts
will only help us in getting our genuine demands fulfilled at the earliest.*

*Good News..........*Finally one of our long pending demand of allowing the
professionally qualified DRTTAs/ Non executives to pursue management studies
under the BSNL employees distance learning scheme similarly on the same
lines as executives is accepted by the Management. We extend our heartfelt
thanks to *Sh. Neeraj Verma, General Manager (trg)* for this kind gesture.

PASS THIS
INFORMATION TO AS MANY AS YOU CAN, IT MAY SAVE LIVES

Dengue Fever
Remedy

I
would like to share this interesting discovery from a classmate's son who has
just recovered from dengue
fever. Apparently, his son was in the
critical stage at the ICU when his blood platelet count drops to 15 after 15
liters of blood transfusion.

His father was so worried that he seeks
another friend's recommendation and his son was saved. He confessed to me that
he gave his son raw juice of the
papaya leaves. From a platelet count of 45
after 20 liters of blood transfusion, and after drinking the raw papaya leaf
juice, his platelet count jumps instantly to 135. Even the doctors and nurses
were surprised. After the second day he was discharged. So he asked me to pass
this good news around.

Accordingly it is raw papaya leaves, 2pcs just cleaned and pound
and squeeze with filter cloth. You will only get one tablespoon per leaf.. So
two tablespoon per serving once a day. Do not boil or cook or rinse with hot
water, it will loose its strength. Only the leafy part and no stem or sap. It is
very bitter and you have to swallow it like "Won Low Kat". But it
works.

*Papaya Juice - Cure
for Dengue*

You may have heard this
elsewhere but if not I am glad to inform you that papaya juice is a natural cure
for dengue fever. As dengue fever is rampant now, I think it's good to share
this with all.

A friend of mine had dengue last year.. It was a very
serious situation for her as her platelet count had dropped to 28,000 after 3
days in hospital and water has started to fill up her lung. She had difficulty
in breathing. She was only 32-year old. Doctor says there's no cure for dengue.
We just have to wait for her body immune system to build up resistance against
dengue and fight its own battle. She already had 2 blood transfusion and all of
us were praying very hard as her platelet continued to drop since the first day
she was admitted.

Fortunately her mother-in-law heard that papaya juice
would help to reduce the fever and got some papaya leaves, pounded them and
squeeze the juice out for her. The next day, her platelet count started to
increase, her fever subside. We continued to feed her with papaya juice and she
recovered after 3 days!!!

Amazing but it's true. It's believed one's body
would be overheated when one is down with dengue and that also caused the
patient to have fever papaya juice has cooling effect. Thus, it helps to reduce
the level of heat in one's body, thus the fever will go away. I found that it's
also good when one is having sore throat or suffering from heat.

Please
spread the news about this as lately there are many dengue cases. It's great if
such natural cure could help to ease the sufferings of dengue
patients.

Furthermore it's so easily available.
Blend them and squeeze
the juice! It's simple and miraculously effective!!

10. A Miracle : Gurdwara Pathar Sahib safe in Leh Tragedy.
Posted by: "Bandhan.P.Singh" email13@gmail.com bsnl_chd

* A miracle: Gurdwara Pathar Sahib safe
* *A Tribune Report by Tejinder Singh Sodhi writes from Leh*

*link to the report is
http://www.tribuneindia.com/2010/20100902/nation.htm#16
*

It was nothing less than a miracle that after being hit by a massive
landslide triggered by the flash floods and remaining inundated in slush for
more than eight days, the centuries-old Gurdwara Pathar Sahib did not face
any major damage.

"This place was buried in the slush, it took us eight days to clean it,
initially we thought that the historic boulder might have been damaged, but
to our surprise everything was safe," said Dalwinder Singh, a sevadar who
looks after the gurdwara.

He said the Army, which looked after the gurdwara was helped by stranded
truck drivers and locals to clean the slush from the premises and as soon as
the roads opened, the pilgrims again started visiting the place. "Everyday
around 150 to 200 pilgrims come to this gurdwara and on Sunday around 600
persons come here, every truck stops here and the driver comes and takes the
blessings," Dalwinder Singh said.

According to the Sikh history, the place where the gurdwara was built was
inhabited by a demon. In 1516, when Guru Nanak visited this place to give
him sermons, the demon was very angry. One day the demon saw Guru Nanak Dev
meditating with his back facing him, he threw a huge boulder at the guru.
The boulder hit the guru's back and turned into wax. The demon thought that
Guru Nanak Dev was dead but got angry after seeing him meditate. The demon
kicked the boulder but his feet was also stucked in. Realising that the
person was very powerful, he asked for forgiveness. Guru Nanak Dev asked him
to serve villagers and thus the demon became a sadhu.

Apart from religious importance, the Gurdwara Pathar Sahib has
archaeological importance as well as it is believed to be built five
centuries ago on the same place where Guru Nanak was meditating and people
in large number come here to have the glimpse of the rock.

Amethi, September 1
Sarvan village near Fursatganj today became the first village in the country
to have a broadband service named as 'fibre to panchayat' technically known
as GPON technology.

AICC general secretary and Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi along with Sam Pitroda,
advisor to the Prime Minister on public information infrastructure and
innovations and the pioneer of the country's information technology
revolution, jointly launched the unique broadband service at a public
function.

Rahul today started a three-day tour of his constituency.

Speaking on the occasion, Rahul reiterated the presence of two Indias - one
inhabited by the rich and powerful and the other in which the poor made out
a living.

Describing connectivity and opportunity as the single most crucial factor
that distinguished one India from the other, Rahul said roads, power,
education and computers had the potential to give the other India the power
to compete on an equal footing. The India unit of US-based Alphion
Corporation Ltd in collaboration with ITI Rae Bareli and BSNL will be
responsible for the distribution of optic fibre to the village panchayat.

Young people present at the function in large numbers could be seen cheering
their MP as he spoke.

Ramchand, a college student, was much excited at the prospect of making use
of the new facility for booking train tickets. Earlier, he had to go to the
nearby town for this facility.

On the way to Sarvan, Rahul stopped at various points to hear out the
grievances of Fursatganj farmers. When they complained about the lack of
power that was affecting farming work, Rahul told them that they had to
change the present state government if they wanted things to improve.
