Nokia plans to foray into the dual SIM handset market in India with the launch of its first dual SIM device by September end this year.
"Globally, C1 and C2, dual SIM mobile from Nokia, are already available. In India we'll launch our dual SIM device in this quarter," said V Ramnath, director, operator business, Nokia India.
The dual SIM devices market is pegged at about Rs 2,200 crore annually and is the fastest growing segment of the handset industry.
The Finnish handset giant had earlier globally unveiled its C series mobile phones in June.
The C1 is expected to be launched in the third quarter, while C2 is expected to be made available in quarter four.
C1 will allow the user to carry two SIM cards, while only one can be activated at a time. On the other hand, C2 will support both SIMs working simultaneously.
While the Nokia C1 will be priced at approximately Rs 1,750; the C2 will be priced at around Rs 2,500.

Major Indian telecom company BSNL�s official website hacked !
In the latest in India � Pakistan cyber wars, a group claiming to be �Urdu
Hackers� have hacked into the BSNL, Punjab official
website<http://www.punjab.bsnl.co.in/>,
which is India Governments official Telecom services agency.
Its a state-owned telecommunication enterprise in India. BSNL is the third
largest cellular service provider, with over 66.88 million customers as of
June 2010 and the largest land line telephone provider in India.
The hackers who call themselves �Urdu hackers� claims to be from Pakistan
(via Email). The private data from the website have been downloaded � claims
the group.

The Punjab BSNL website shows a �Down for maintenance� status at the moment.
The above video was emailed to me, which confirms the groups responsibility.

After suffering since eight years no SNATTA or BSNLEU help us and fight for us all are thinking only yourself ,some thinking for completing your seven year service to appear in examination,some thinking to compleate your five year of service and then they change the RR.some wants if we getting B.E degree then why not my post upgraded.all are thinking yourself.so finally we decided that all of us go with NFTE to help me < GS NFTE assured us . let us try to go with NFTE if BSNLEU no do any more for us.
