| I w'll clear all ur confusions as i have practically gone through this stage in JAO-1 exam . My TTA training(dt. of joining) started on 3rd dec 2001. I was appointed at LDH SSA(after completion of training) on 11 feb 2002. Now in jan 2007, notification for JAO -1 came, in which it was written that service condition as on 1st jan 2007 should be 5 years. Now when we include training period , we were eligible for sitting in exam(5years and 28 days), but not when we were not including service period( 4 years 10 months & 8 days). In the end we were allowed to sit in exam after including service period.& THE BATCH WHICH STARTED IT'S TRAINING ON 6 JAN WAS NOT ALLOWED DUE TO 6 DAYS PERIOD SHORTAGE. So the abstract is that training period is counted for service condition. AMREESH SHARMA TTA, LDH.

Since X is rank 1 & Z is rank 3 in my example, and both got the same rectt year, that's why I told that X will be senior.BUT I am sorry I may be wrong coz there will be the element of --marks in Induction training-- which finally decides the seniorty for a particular rectt year. 2. As discuused over phone with u, we can always fight for this cut off date. And as you have suggested 3 probable considertion for cut off date, i feel that while cosidering the cutoff date ur 3rd point --the result date-- is out of question. and the 2nd point--the exam date-- in departmental exams normally the exam dt is not declared beforehand coz there will be many hurdles and it may be postponed many times. so if they consider that as cut off date everytime it is postponed there will be more people eligible. so the last one the date of notification is most feaisble as cut off date and is unbiased also. Be United and of course we can fight for that, but keep in mind whatever be the date decided there will be people on both sides of the border. and few will be eligible marginally and few will lose marginally, and nobody will be eager to delay the exam so that few more people can be accomodated. so on this point it will be very difficult to make people united & struggle. But it is too early to discuss on these topics, we will decides neutrally as the situation arises. Don't worry, now start studying bye Chandan

Please furthur clarify How?

1. suppose X joined in 2002(JAN to JUNE), and he secured rank 1
so at the most his rectt year will be 2002+7=2009
2. suppose Y joined in 2001(JAN to JUNE) and he secured rank 2.
so at the most his rectt year will be 2001+7=2008
3 suppose Z joined in 2001(JUL to DEC) and he secured rank 3. so
at the most his rectt year will be 2002+7=2009 and he will be
junior to X.

2.Every time only two dates are considered as CUT-OFF Date i.e.
1)If Exam Conducted after July(from July - Dec) then 01-July.
2)IF exam conducted after Jan (From Jan- June) then 01-Jan.
So it might possbile that some people may miss the train by few yards
as mostly Traing Date Falls after 01-Jan or 01-July might be 1 day delay 5,10, or 20 days delay.
As the Process of
1.Date of Notification
2.Date of Exam
3.Date of Result
4.Date of Training.
are all making the person Eligible for becoming actual JTO.
then WHAT IS THE LOGIC OF THIS Arbitary CUT OFF Date
Cant we Fight AGAINST IT?
Because he may loose years just because of few short DAYS.
CUT OF DATE SHOULD BE EITHER
1.THE DATE OF ACTUAL NOTIFICATION
2.THE DATE OF EXAM
3.THE DATE OF RESULT
(WHEN IN TRUE SCENCE HE BECOME JTO OR CAN BE CALLED AS JTO)
PLEASE CLARIFY THE ABOVE .......
