Dear Webmaster & friends,

i personally feel that we should have photos of our Founders on snatta.org.
we should go the way others Union do flaunting their founders role in
building their Association/Union.
it will look good if we have a *small snap of Chandan & Dhiraj on front page
of SNATTA.org*
*
it will be our gratitude towards them forever*. we can also link-up their
current Profile or Achievements with it showing their role in building this
important Association and clubbing us all together under one umbrella-
SNATTA.

*how u all feel about my this small suggestion.??*

Deepawali Greeting
dear tta friends,

May I take the opportunity on this auspicious festivity occasion of deepawali to wish all of my fellow employees of BSNL the best of the greetings. May the festival of lights be the harbinger of joy and prosperity. On this occasion of Diwali the atmosphere is filled with the spirit of mirth and love, here's hoping this festival of beauty brings your way, bright sparkles of contentment, that stay with you through the days ahead.

Though the central theme of all legends point out to the classic truth of the victory of the good over the evils, Diwali, being the festival of lights, lighting the lamp of knowledge within us means to understand and reflect upon the significant purpose of taking a plunge to make BSNL one of the prosperous company of the India.

Best wishes on Diwali.

4. BSNL Adds Highest Number of New GSM Subscribers In October
Posted by: "sonu gill" sonumehna@yahoo.co.in sonumehna
Date: Thu Nov 4, 2010 8:25 am ((PDT))

India's National Telecom back bone andpan India 3G mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today announced that it has added a total of 2.5 million new GSM subscribers which is the highest number of new mobile subscribersadditions in the month of October 2010.Announcing the new achievement of BSNL, Mr Sachin Pilot, Minister of State for IT and Communications said that the telecom PSU BSNL, which was lagging behind private telcos in terms of new subscriber additions, has garnered over two million subscriber every month from the August till October, 2010.Mr Pilot also added that at present BSNL had 3G coverage in 675 cities and will expand 3G services to 120 more cities across India by December 2010.Earlier BSNL had added 2.2 million users in August and 2.4 millions in September 2010 which was the highest number of new mobile subscribers additions among all the telecom operators. At the event BSNL also announced the Pan India launch
of its "Pyari Jodi Offer" (earlier known as Home Unlimited Plan) which was first launched in Kerala telecom circle as a promotional offer to celebrate the Onam, after getting tremendous response BSNL extended the same plan in some more circles across India.GET More Do More Offer : With the new Prepaid GSM connection under Payri Joadi Offer prospective subscribers will get a free talk time of Rs. 15, 1000 Local/National SMS and 1000 MB data free and can also call two BSNL Local numbers at a reduced rate of 20 paisa per minute and one BSNL STD number (anywhere in India) at a reduced rate of just 20 paisa per minute without paying any additional monthly charges under by default FnF schemes.Speaking on the pan India launch of "Pyari Jodi Offer", Mr Gopal Das, CMD BSNL said that " BSNL launched various affordable and customer friendly 2G and 3G tariff plans and We plan to add over 2.5 million 3G Mobile and Data users in the next five
months ending March, 2011.

5a. Broadband access: Telcos may get to use BSNL's last-mile network
Posted by: "sonu gill" sonumehna@yahoo.co.in sonumehna
Date: Thu Nov 4, 2010 8:30 am ((PDT))

New Delhi, Nov. 2In a move aimed at increasing broadband penetration to millions of subscribers, an internal committee of the Department of Telecom has suggested unbundling of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd's last-mile copper lines to private operators.Unbundling of the last-mile local loop will essentially allow a private operator use BSNL's nationwide fixed line network for offering broadband services. The private player will pay a fee to BSNL for using the copper cables. This arrangement could be a boon for the flailing Internet service provider industry which is currently limited to offering services in small regions due to lack of access to infrastructure. For example, an ISP operating in Lucknow can also reach households in Coimbatore by leasing the PSU's network.BSNL has an extensive copper network that currently runs to 30 million subscribers and can be ramped up to support millions more. With the number of its own fixed line subscribers declining,
allowing private players to ride on its network will mean additional revenue for the PSU. The DoT panel has, however, suggested that only excess capacity after meeting BSNL's own requirement for the next three years, may be left open for the private players.Last-mile access is the most expensive and tedious part of laying a fixed line network because of which most private players do not get into fixed line broadband. Even Airtel, which has significant fixed line presence, has limited itself to just 90 cities. If BSNL shares its infrastructure, even larger telecom operators will be able to reach more consumers.

hi friends,
i personally against unbundling of last mile (as mentioned in the last
paragraph report by sonu gill)

once Indian subscribers get addicted to private services or product they
will never take our services. instead we shud try to launch our own services
and get FULL revenue and share.
why we share our LandLine network when we know that BSNL's only face saver
is Broadband now. *there is immense potential in Broadband.*

*we can earn Crores of revenue and retain No.1 spot in LL, BB & Mobile
through Broadband only.*

*see the small example below...*
Indian people now wants BSNL BB at their homes, as we all have already seen
the tremendous response and growth in broadband sector. Now people retain
BSNL LandLine just because of Broaband facility. or we can say that Indian
people needs or demand or install LandLine to have Broadband services. (
thanks to good technical support by TTAs and govt discounts offered by
Mgmt.)

And now a good but rather a LATE move by BSNL to promote mobile connection
by offering FREE calling to Home BSNL LandLine. so people have started
availing this facility in All India.

*so all members of BSNL FAMILY should start concentrating on promoting BSNL
products & services keeping in mind the benefit and growth in all THREE
sectors of Telecom.*

regards,
*Bandhan Preet Singh*
