The management is not ready to give the designation JE is just because, it will make some difference.

So we are fighting on right things only.

The Engineer in the Designation means much for everyone. The SDEs will be habituate to JE in next 1 or 2 months, though they are calling you a Technitian.

Don't worry. If someone calls u an enginner or not, if you are designated as enginner makes a difference.

You are right, still my sde 's are introduce me as 'technitian'
some places, so by changing the Design will not effect the much more differece.

so please concentratr on

1st -- To get Pay Scale as per the recommendations 6th pay commission.

2nd -- To Conduct Deptt. Exam under 35% quota for JTO promotion and to reduce service condition 10 to 5 years.

3rd -- To get powers before change of Desigantion.

all are saying that when we tell our desigantion as JET or JE(T).... it will put good impression on people about us....

then what will be the impression when customer will ask us "JE sir, please arrange to resolve our complain"... .

and we will be helpless.... as we have no power to order Phone Machenic and even Clerical Staff....

So according to me we must organise and agitate with priorities as given below:
