Dear Friend
I am also in the opinion that if TTA"s pay is not
revised upward then our representatives should not sign the final
decision of pay revision .Because if they sign then in the court of law
our case may weaken and it may go against our interest in the pay
revision.
Therefore it our humble request to not go for signing in the majority of TTA'S interest.
For reference advt. is attached which says pay will be
revised up ward on this basis decision may be challenged if our
representatives are not giving there consent.

Govt approves revised pay scales for PSU employees

In
a bonanza to officers of Central Public Sector Undertakings, the
government on Thursday announced a hefty 50 to 300 per cent increase in
pay-packages with effect from January 1, 2007.
A Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh,
approved the new scales for 1,20,000 non-unionised supervisory staff
and 2,58,000 board level officers in 216 operational Central PSUs.
It approved uniform fitment of 30 per cent of basic pay plus
dearness allowance for profit making PSUs with effect from January 1,
2007. For weak and non-profitable PSUs, the fitment will depend on
their affordability and will range between 10 per cent and 20 per cent.
The package would include revision in other allowances like house rent
allowance, besides performance related incentives, Minister of State in
Prime Minister´s Office Prithviraj Chavan told reporters in New Delhi.
"The revised pay scales would be implemented by issue of
Presidential Directive in respect of each CPSE separately by the
administrative ministry concerned," he said.
While the new pay structure would be implementable from January 1,
2007, the new allowances would accrue to employees only after the
decision is notified by individual units.
The Cabinet relied on the Committee of Secretaries recommendations
to classify PSUs into four categories - A, B, C and D, instead of five
categories - A+, A, B, C and D recommended by the Rao Committee in May.
The chairman of `A´ category PSU will now be eligible for Rs 80,000
to 1,25,000 pay scale as against Rs 18,500 to 23,900 currently.

The Union Cabinet will also consider the recommendations sent by the Chief Justice of India to the Law Ministry.READ AT NDTV

dear friends,
i want to draw ur attention towards the burning issue of the so called wage revision. i was taking it as a 1st april joke of the millenium when my esteemed friend jp singh first put it on yahoo group that v, the newly inducted ttas will not get the fitment benefit. but i got the shock of my life when i realised that he infact is right as the same happened in case of dr jtos. i have been party to three cpcs of 1986, 1996 & 2006 in air force and believe me in all three of them new recruits were the most benefitted. same is the case with state pay commissions where the scale of an employee joining post jan 06 is fixed after due weightage of fitment. can anyone in this world 4 god,s sake explain to me what sin have post jan 07 recruitees in bsnl committed. if the answer to this is that the departmental rules in a psu are such, then damn with these f....ing rules. what is most disgusting is the fact
that this practice has gone unabated so far. there can be no other example of gross injustice as glaring as this, on this planet called earth.
but friends believe my words that v r not going to take this lying down. something similar happened in 1996 cpc report in respect of air force technicians and the entire indian air force was divided on tech and non-tech lines. v refused to accept the new scales and demonstrations were held at many air force stations. the govt woke up from its deep slumber and realised that if the uniformed personnel of one of our armed forces have gone that far, it means that injustice has been done to them. down came the orders that if they don't want to accept new scales then they should be allowed to take salary as per existing scales but each one of the must be paid immediately. in a due course of time our grievences were redressed and matter resolved amicably.
so if v could achieve this being in uniform, what stops us from doing the same in a civilian's attire. i had a talk today with representatives of graduate engineer's association of bsnl, they r also contemplating of taking this matter to court and have already started collecting money 4 this purpose.
let us not look up to our seniors because only the bearer knows where the shoe pinches and start mobilising maximum dr tta friends to take the fight to a logical conclusion .
