Dear friends,

I agree with other CCs/CSs. It will not be a wise move to withdraw from UF now. It will be helpful for BSNLEU to avoid us completely. Now we have one representative in wage revision. We will lose it if we withdraw the support now. Our representative should be there when the new pay scales are decided. So at least support the UF at the end of wage revision.

But sitting idle by obeying BSNLEU's decisions is also not good. So we should use the strike for expressing our unrest. They have not included a single issue of DRTTAs in the coming strike even after our repeated requests. At the same time they have included casual workers demands as a part of CITU/CPM agenda. We should not participate in the coming strike. It will be very easy to implement it because all the 2008 batch TTAs may not be ready to go for a strike. All of us can take mass C/L on 18th Aug when the AIGETOA starts their indefinite strike. They have raised the demand of our service condition reduction. So it is our duty to give moral support to them. However if BSNLEU includes our demands as a supplementary item in the strike notice then we can participate in the strike.

Anyway I don't think the BSNLEU will implement the agreement that they signed with us during the election. But we had given them one year time for implementing it. So give them just one year. After that we should withdraw the support. Then all the DRTTAs should resign from BSNLEU. But it is not an easy task. We should campaign well among the TTAs. Some materials should be prepared to explore the BSNLEU and should be distributed among all the TTAs. I am ready to prepare such materials/documents. I am confident that after reading it nobody will stay in BSNLEU.

We should continue our fight even if we are alone. At least our juniors should be benefited. Definitely we should do our revenge in the future. We should block their IDA pension. For giving them pension BSNL is depositing around 30% of their salary. BSNL cannot afford such a burden. Definitely we should file a petition in CAT against the time bound promotion policy and against pre-qualifying exam for TTA promotion which is against the recruitment rule.

Joining in Workerse Alliance will make the matters worse. The FNTO and officiating JTOs in the NFTE are waiting for our blood. We may consider another agreement with them only at the time of next verification.

Court cases seems to be the only options. For that we need fund. We may start an open fund collection. Individuals may be permitted to deposit any amount of money directly. There will be many people who have faith in our leaders and will donate more than thousand.
