| Dear Rajendra, In a fit of over exitement we should not forget that What we have achieved would not have been possible with an individual effort,its a result of a long struggle by various people at various moments on various platforms.And we have to wait for the ripe time to get the maximum. Let me explain by an example,you must have watched a cricket match,suppose India(SNATTA) is chasing a big target(reduction of qualifying years),the top order has performed very well,tendulakar( dheeraj), sehwag(petitione rs),ganguly( dharmendra) ,all have scored well,this motivates the tailenders and the players in the lower rung,Harbhajan singh(Our own Hakam Singh) comes and scores winning stroke, four of last ball.And India wins. So, now we may say that it was Bhajji who won the match for us ,for had he not hit a four of last ball we would have lost the game,but friendsit was only due to a very strong and sensible innings of the players in the upper order who actually made this happen,otherwise we would be nowere near to the target.In the hindsight, if Bhajji had not scored final four of last ball then all this would have gone waste.So its difficult to say who was the real match winner,but it was the team and its collective effort which won..Its a team game and team effort matters. Upon "HALLA BOL" I would like to say that its not the right time for agitations demanding LDCE.Just yesterday we have got news that bsnl board has reduced the qualifying years to to 7 years and the file has yet to move through various sections before being finally notified.And till now the syllabus is also not prepared,we have still fight to get one time relaxation of 5 years so that maxm TTAs get the benefit.And secondly the management may take a different stance this time after going through three agitation calls by three different unions(AIGETOA, SNATTA,UNITED FORUM),it might not be in a mood to encourage any further trade union activities anytime so soon.And one thing more,on there was big pressure on the management to appease us to call of our mass cl program,because same day AIGETOA were going on strike,therefore managemnet wanted the diploma engg to go back to work,so that the maintenance and operations remain normal on that day.But the urgency on the part of the management is missing this time. Anyway,we can raise the issue in NCM,through letters by namboodiri or our GS,but keep the hallo bol program on hold for the time being. So wait till the change in JTO RRs is notified,and one thing I wouLd like to add at this moment,and this is my personal view. In my opinion,we are member of a strong association of educated and qualified TTAs and everyone is a leader or has potential to be one.I appreciate the feelings of rajendra and kalra but any agitation programme if it has to be successful has to be planned well.And before calling for any such programme we should discuss it with the local office bearers and CHQ(GS,Pres, VP,CCs).If some one has got some idea,share it with the group,and let the TOP BODY of SNATTA CHQ decide upon the future course of action.We are deciplined member of an association, who are bound by the decisions of its leaders..Our unity is actual source of strength.for the overall health of association. Do not rush to get the credits,we ALL would be remembered as hero by our friends who are yet to join the department. And lets not use our weapon of "Brhmastra" everytime,we should use it wisely and timing is essential.we should Preserve it for future.
