BSNLEU kerala and expressed our resentment…As per his words Our CHQ already agreed for 1.91 multi factor and for no pay scale up gradation.… Is it true??.... So I Request we do not sign .. If we sign in this, we cannot face new recruits..The old TTAs will loose a considerable amount of fitment in salary in the absence of pay scale up gradation. In this regards our CHQ think and decide

dear friends,
i want to draw ur attention towards the burning issue of the so called wage revision. i was taking it as a 1st april joke of the millenium when my esteemed friend jp singh first put it on yahoo group that v, the newly inducted ttas will not get the fitment benefit. but i got the shock of my life when i realised that he infact is right as the same happened in case of dr jtos. i have been party to three cpcs of 1986, 1996 & 2006 in air force and believe me in all three of them new recruits were the most benefitted. same is the case with state pay commissions where the scale of an employee joining post jan 06 is fixed after due weightage of fitment. can anyone in this world 4 god,s sake explain to me what sin have post jan 07 recruitees in bsnl committed. if the answer to this is that the departmental rules in a psu are such, then damn with these f....ing rules. what is most disgusting is the fact
that this practice has gone unabated so far. there can be no other example of gross injustice as glaring as this, on this planet called earth.
but friends believe my words that v r not going to take this lying down. something similar happened in 1996 cpc report in respect of air force technicians and the entire indian air force was divided on tech and non-tech lines. v refused to accept the new scales and demonstrations were held at many air force stations. the govt woke up from its deep slumber and realised that if the uniformed personnel of one of our armed forces have gone that far, it means that injustice has been done to them. down came the orders that if they don't want to accept new scales then they should be allowed to take salary as per existing scales but each one of the must be paid immediately. in a due course of time our grievences were redressed and matter resolved amicably.
so if v could achieve this being in uniform, what stops us from doing the same in a civilian's attire. i had a talk today with representatives of graduate engineer's association of bsnl, they r also contemplating of taking this matter to court and have already started collecting money 4 this purpose.
let us not look up to our seniors because only the bearer knows where the shoe pinches and start mobilising maximum dr tta friends to take the fight to a logical conclusion .

It is a well calculated initiative to fight for the cause of junior DRs in BSNL. I, though belong to 2002 batch, am happy that some one who was in uniform, is taking the baton for the common purpose. Best of Luck.
You might be surprised, despite my queries for JTO LICE eligibility to over one month to our union reps, I am yet to get any concrete response/guidance. I dont know why our CHQ is keeping an email Id if they dont want to reply for the genuine query. No response from GS/Prfesident too. Some of my mails are dumped in spam folder and others are filtered as if this yahoo group is meant for some biased/influenced members as it seems that better coverage is given for puzzle and Nirma ads. The role/action of moderator is seems to be that of period at the time of emergency when the freedom of expression of individuals was in jeopardy, as we experienced in case of some adverse responses to few members mail. Let us cultivate the habit of listening to even worst comments as Right to Know/Freedom of expression are fundamental rights of Constitution.
The seniors are not going to loose anything if the juniors are given a reasonable emolument. For allmost all benefits, perks and welfare, BSNL is taking guidance from Central Govt, then why not for the pay fixation too? If the juniors are feeling deprived of their benefits, it is the responsibility of SNATTA to focus their legitimate grievances in correct fora. It is also astonishing to note that the representation given by our union to reduce the eligible length of service from 7 to 5 years is forwarded to Mgmt by the recognised union, but the representation given for considering a highest pay scale to TTA, with due justification ( it was well represented by Mr Hakam SIngh in CPC with detailed comparative study of other PSUs and Central Govt sectors) was not taken up for the reasons better known to the recognised union itself.
I hope that better sense will prevail in minds of officer bearers and it is not late to take stock of the situation atleast now without wasting any more time.

sorry i forgot to make a mention of this in my previous mail. the reps of graduate engr's association, with whom i had a talk 2day regarding injustice being done to post 07 tta's in wage revision, in fact told me that v should form a joint forum irrespective of being executives and non-executives. to this proposal even pre 07 dr jto's r willing.
may i seek ur valuable suggestions on this issue.
friends, it has now become the moral obligation of each dr tta to wake up to the need of the hour lest it is too late . i, with my limited experience in bsnl, understand that the entire tta franternity is being made beasts of burden so that they don't have time 2 think about anything else, not even their career progression. so let us join our hands and start taking time-out from our busy schedules for the betterment of our future prospects before tm's and rm's start drawing more salary then diploma engineers.

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up a stone & scratched lines on the side of the car.
In anger, the man took the child's hand & hit it many times, not realizing he was using a wrench.
At the hospital, the child lost his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father..... with painful eyes he asked 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'
The man was so hurt and speechless. He went back to his car and kicked many times.
Devastated by his own actions...... sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches,the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.
Anger and Love have no limits, Choose the later one to have a beautiful & lovely life .....

Number portability to miss deadline
NEW DELHI, Dec 8, DHNS:
The implementation of Mobile Number Portability (MNP), which allows consumers to change their mobile service provider by retaining the phone number, will miss the December-31 deadline as several companies are yet to equip themselves fully to offer the service.
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) had earlier said that MNP would come into force on January 1. However, except for Vodafone, most companies are yet to get on to the MNP regime.
The state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and the Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) have also informed the government that they will not be able to implement the system before April next year in view of the lack of time to tweak the technology, tariff plans and billing.
"We have conducted tests within our network. But to conduct test with other operators, it seems, a few more weeks would be required", R K Agarwal, Director (Consumer Mobility), BSNL, told Deccan Herald.
J S Sarma, Chairman, TRAI, said the operators should try to implement the facility within the deadline, lest they should be labelled anti-consumer.

Split over tariff war
The ongoing price war in the telecom sector has started taking its toll. While older companies such as Bharti Airtel and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) say that the existing tariffs are below their costs, new firms such as Tata Teleservices and Uninor say they would make profits at the current tariffs.
Price wars began in June 2009 when Tata DoCoMo launched its GSM service in Chennai. It offered a 'per second' billing to its customers, charging 1 paise per second for local and STD calls made to any network. All other operators followed.
Then the entry of MTS further intensified the war. The company introduced a tariff plan with 0.5 paise per second billing.
Presently, there are about 10 players in the market making India one of the most competitive markets in the world.

For our grade and pay and all other thinks there are lot of standared goverment policys available but the union people make all hangama with their power to get the vote from mejority people play the game even in the policy matters too. WORST EVER VIRUS (CNN announced)
PLEASE SEND THIS TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST !!
A new virus has just been discovered that has been
classified by Microsoft as the most destructive ever!
This virus was discovered yesterday afternoon by
McAfee and no vaccine has yet been developed.
This virus simply destroys Sector Zero from the hard disk,
where information for its functioning are stored.
This virus acts in the following manner:
It sends itself automatically to all contacts on your
list with the title "A Virtual Card for You." As soon
as the supposed virtual card is opened, the computer
freezes so that the user has to
reboot.
When the ctrl+alt+del keys or the reset button are
pressed, the virus destroys Sector Zero, thus
permanently destroying the hard disk.
Yesterday in just a few hours this virus caused panic
in New York, according to news broadcast by CNN.
This alert was received by an employee of Microsoft
itself. So don't open any mails with subject: "*A*
* Virtual Card for You*." As soon as you get the mail,
delete it. Please pass this mail to all of your
friends.
Forward this to everyone in your address book.
I would rather receive this 25 times than not at all.
Also: Intel announced that a new and very destructive
virus was discovered
recently.
If you receive an email called *"An Internet Flower*
* For You,"* do not open it. Delete it right away! This
virus removes all dynamic link libraries (.dll files)
from your computer. Your computer will not be able to
boot up!!
