According to my views, IPO will not be

In favour of BSNL not

In favour of BSNL employees and even not

In fovour of Telecom customers

The income came from IPO will not be used in the development of BSNL as we know it.

BSNL employee may get IPO on lower rate BUT for long term, it will be totally loss of us.... JOB security main issue....others issues are also there. There will be definitely some " MITHI GOLI" to convince employees by Management.... But we know there are lots of issues pending which are to be resolved by Management since the conversion of DOT to BSNL.... ( After so many years still pending N pending).

Before the launch of GSM services by BSNL, In Punjab circle Spice was the main Telecom Operator which just lure the customer even with huge Incoming call charges....If there is disinvestment in BSNL, All telecom operators will definitely charge there customers with higher prices...

N in India there was less effect of Recession due to PSUs present here like BSNL.USA government is now trying to increase PSUs at there... BUT in India the case is totally reverse....

In short IPO(Disinvestment) will NOT be in favour of our NATION
