if it is on board LAN, (now a days all computer comes with in built LAN), which is enabled by default, but, some of the previous computers have on board LAN, but disabled by default. in that case go to BIOS settings while switching on the computer and enable it.

For seperately fitted LAN card, check from Device Manger, if it is properly installed. if u see any ! or ? (yellow colour) mark against any 'Network Controller' or 'Communication controller', then it is driver problem.

Hi Good morning to all my friends. I had a small doubt regarding the LAN Icon in the system. I am unable to see the LAN Icon. The LAN card is there and it is in good condition. The LAN drivers are installed. In the network connections when i checked it is unavailable. Please reply for this problem.
