no.. as far as i know.
they need to follow the protocol.
only ur controlling officer can issue the memo.. before memo they need to
issue verbal or written warnings also.

If your reporting is to AGM directly so he can give you memo. If your
reporting to SDE then SDE will give you memo and give copy to AGM also and
he will give you time to give clarifiaction from your end.
Then if your clarifiation is not proper SDE will take permission to put
entry in your Service Book.

*Telecom minister A Raja has done it again*. *The controversial minister now
wants money from the Universal Service Obligation (USO) Fund meant to
promote rural telephony to be allocated to telecom tower companies under
certain norms which, if implemented, would benefit only a single company. *
The minister has asked USOF administrator Ajay Bhattacharya to tweak norms
to make it mandatory that only those who build towers under phase-2 of the
project — worth Rs 5,000 crore —– which use renewable energy sources in
rural areas with population up to 500 would get grants.
The USOF currently has a Rs 14,700-crore corpus.
*Only VNL, a Shyam Group firm uses solar energy for towers at present,
making it the sole eligible candidate if the directive is implemented. Tower
firms mostly use diesel and electricity as source of energy. *
Sources said Bhattacharya has refused to make the changes as it would limit
the number of applicants to just one.
Cellular Operators Association of India, the group of GSM operators has
already written to the department of telecommunications (DoT) in this
regard: "We understand that USO funds earmarked for tower/infrastructure
sharing, under the Plan Phase-II have been allocated to a certain company
without the benefit of any public bidding or discussion with cellular/tower
operators and other interested parties. We believe this is a departure from
the norms of transparency, industry participation and guidelines for the
allocation and the use of USO funds."
Raja's communication comes at a time when DoT is finalising the procedure
for awarding contracts. Towers, which will be built by the winners with USOF
assistance, will be used by mobile operators to provide services in rural
areas.
The first phase of the project was a big success since operators had bid in
the negative, meaning that they were willing to forego USOF aid. Contracts
were awarded to build close to 8,000 towers in 500 districts across 27
states with population below 2,000 where there is no existing fixed wireless
or mobile coverage.
In the second phase, the government plans to set up 11,000 towers. The
project envisages providing subsidy to pure infrastructure provides or a
telecom service provider. The infrastructure so created would be shared
between three service providers.
As earlier reported by FE, former DoT secretary DS Mathur had opposed Raja's
way of doling out licences in 2007. Mathur had refused to sign the files;
so, the licences could only be granted in January, 2008 after he retired.
The violation of norms has since then been observed by the Delhi High Court
and the CAG.
*It seems that A.Raja is the most corrupted Telecom minister ever as per the
reports/allegations available through media/public.*

As u have mentioned about the facts but pls think again, Is the BSNLEU or any other union, only responsible for our misries and all the problems ? Sir our so called representative are also equally responsible for it. Why these people cannot show courage to say that they will not give single penny to BSNLEU other then union subscription till SNATTA supporting this BSNLEU?? and why our circle leaders are quiet now on these issues? Why till date there is no circle confrence concluded till date are we people not leading the same way on which the BSNLEU by trying to save our seats and posts only! since it is the infancy stage of the association huge political planning seems to be done here in SNATTA everywhere,WHY ?What so called unions matured in these tacts after a very long time but our peoples are smart enough to apply these ill traits so early whereever notrequired at all !! Even we have LCM and RCM ,NCM seats till date BROADBAND convayance,Para-8
transfer cases and many more pending issues for what you have asked for?? So pls. take some corrective  and remedial measures in your association at circle level specially because the matter is in worse condition here. So unite and strengthen  SNATTA and go forward with right approach.

Hi all my dear TTA's,
As our high command ordered to go on duty on the last strike of 07-09-2010, annoyed from this, BSNLEU leaders are trying to test our unity by creating pressure on management to implement the decisions against our TTA friends to show that they can do anything. Some of the examples are the suspending of distt secy of ropar ssa, providing charge sheets to some of our SNATTA leaders, transferring of some of our leaders etc. i was also threatened of being transferred and it happened also. i am trying to sort out the matter but it seems that the days of BSNLEU are over now. and i am dam sure that no body will vote for them who are creating threat among our friends. In amritsar app 125 tta's out of 132 are against the bsnleu leaders due to their mis leading the management and only one mission that is collecting as much money as they can, may be through commissions from hospitals empaneled, from contractors or issuing transfer orders in lieu of collecting money
(the rate fixed is rs. 10000 for outer to city transfer), appointment of new tta's was also done on this basis ( rs. 20000 for appointment in city). as all our tta friends know that bsnleu leaders only used our leaders for collecting votes only. none of the issues were settled . still same designation, no designation change, still no LICE JTO exam, still 5 yr condition is not reached , still pay scale of tta who does almost all the works is lower than a toa who is almost free or having very less or no work. my friends wake up now, try to understand the politics of the leaders, this is a spider net, try to cut it, don't try to come out of it as u will indulge more and more if u kept trying of getting out of one and indulging in other one.

it was wrongly mentioned that 4 TTAs got Bharat Sanchar Seva Padak.
*Only one TTA in India got Bharat Sanchar Seva Padak i.e, Venkatesh G., TTA,
Karnataka.*
Rest got Vishistha Sanchar Seva Padak in their respective Circles.
pls change the news which u put up on dated 20th September on ur website

It is reported that out of total 12.4 million GSM Connections given in
September 2010, BSNL tops with 2.3 million. With this BSNL user base has
increased to 72.6 million. Congratulation to all!
