This single issue has raised more UNITY in SNATTA.
This JTO LICE exam issue has united more TTAs together.

With Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd's performance hitting a new low, a section of
the company's employees has written to the Prime Minister to appoint a new
management team selected through a national search for talented
professionals outside the Government.
A similar exercise was also carried out for the beleaguered national carrier
Air India. The Sanchar Nigam Executives Association (SNEA) and the All-India
Graduate Engineer Telecom Officers Association have told the Prime Minister
that BSNL will not be able to survive under the present leadership.
"This company cannot survive under such servile management, which, we are
sure, cannot rise above the interests of the lords. Thus, the issue
fundamentally boils down to induction of the rarest of rare talent on the
board, definitely not through the orthodox and primitive mechanism that
Public Enterprise Selection Board has in place at the moment.
"The criterion cannot be just Indian Telecom Services (ITS) seniority, based
on redundant performance mechanism which cannot be the parameters to decide
top slots to run a gigantic company virtually in shambles today," the SNEA
said, in its letter.
The employee's association said that companies such as France Telecom, NTT
and China Mobile with governmental holdings have retained their market
position in a fiercely competitive environment due to high-grade
professional leadership.
SNEA said in its letter to the Prime Minister that the Government has to
consider the best management professionals of the country rather than
looking only within the ITS officers. "Such talent is available in abundance
provided the PESB succeeds in putting in place a mechanism to sift the
rarest of rare talents, needed to steer this company out of the mess that it
is in now," it said.
BSNL's market share has been declining over the past two years and is
expected to go into losses this fiscal. The company's rank in the mobile
segment has declined from number four to number six in the last four months
as it has not been able to procure equipment for expanding its operations.
