hi every body,
plz clarify whether one must have to qualify each part i.e. the 40% cutt off is for PART A and 40% for PART B, or it is of total marks means if one get 45marks out of 50 in partA and 15marks out of 100 in partB aggregate of 60, does he qualify?

As there is one single 3 hrs paper there should not be separate  40%.I think we have to get 60 marks simply to qualify the exam.

Dear All

The apprehension in mind of Mrs.Heena Khan, TTA is understandable. However, the home ministry, after analysing the pros and cons of prepaid mobile services in J&K, has ordered closures of this service wef. 01 Nov 2009. No doubt, at the cost of income through prepaid mobile services, we cannot compromise on security of the nation, which is of prime importance for every nationalist. You may be aware that the Home Minister has categorically instructed across the border that the Mumbai Blast could be the last of its kind and none of such activities will be tolerated in future (It was brought out in media that prepaid sim cards were used for such operation by the renegades). Normally prepaid sim cards are readily available without much verification, whereas, postpaid sim cards are issued after due verification of applicant. So, let us set our house in order (on security point) before trying to get income out of prepaid services atleast from J&K, because,
picture can be drawn only if the wall is protected.

I do agree that the BSNL should expedite the works needed to lure the existing prepaid customer to change into post paid, before they shift loyalty to other operators. This may be brought to notice of concerned authorities through our union.

I remain.

Salams to all,

At a time when entire world is progressing towards realising a global village with 3G and 4G technologies and telecommunications is at its all time best, the J&K state has set up itself as an anomaly to this. For the reasons better known to the Union Home MInister, the prepaid services have been banned in the state w.e.f. 1st november 2009. The existing prepaid subscribers, which constitute majority in the telecom density of JK, have been asked either to convert their SIMs into postpaid or to acquire the new post paid ones. No operator has been allowed to top-up or recharge the prepaid numbers.
 .

Considering this situation of the market, BSNL has not even tried to present luring postpaid plans so as to grab the lost subscribers to other operators. Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone, Reliance and TataIndicom have come up with exciting postpaid schemes alongwith most efficient and fast Customer Care facilities. In J&K, Airtel is the numero uno operator with almost 10 lakh prepaid customers, Aircel at number 2 with 7lakh and BSNL at number 3 with 5 lakh subscribers, which means all these operators have to go for corresponding number of prepaid to post paid conversions. All of them except BSNL seem to have their homework done properly for this contingency.

With its poorest marketing strategies, BSNL can yet again loose this golden opportunities to grab a decent market share. Till then, lets keep our fingers crossed..... ....

3. MT exam - eligibility of TTAs - reg

It is sad to know from the agenda of NCM meeting (refer snatta website), that non-executives are not eligible for MT exam. It is an eye-wash that the management would consider us in the next exam. Where comes the question of 'next exam', when the current exam is itself dangling in court case?
