HI friends,
very same situation is there in my ssa also,
DS bsnleu Mr. A.G. Gagare is a very helpful man.
He always solved drtta's problems on priority.
He also put through many rule 8 cases of our friends.
After snatta signed agreement with nfte, and we ttas decided to vote
for nfte ,he asked me 'what wrong I have done?'
I replied 'Sir you did nothing wrong but your national level leaders did"

So friends we have to overcome these emotional issues and vote for NFTE
for our long term goals.
Even if somebody is thinking of voting bsnleu for their local level work,
it will be a big mistake like hammering axe on own leg...
and even anybody votes them, they will not believe him,
they will only say ' you have done agreement with nfte,so you must have
voted for nfte only...
So forget local issues and concentrate on Victory of NFTE and SNATTA
alliance

Dear Abhijit,
You said it. No need at all for being emotional. If EU had done something for TTAs at local level, it was not a mercy. It was their duty. They were collecting monthly subscription, bonus fund, building fund etc. For what purpose employees are giving it? Just for getting some help from union. In all these days we participated in their strikes, agitations etc. So it was their duty to help us at local level. Nothing else. Twice I got their help in transfers. Once I got a great help in settling a score with an SDE. I don't feel any commitment. I had done everything as a member. So it was their duty to protect the member and nothing else.

i would like to share my experience with my local BSNLEU leaders. As we all know that this time we are going to vote in favour of NFTE due to lackadaisical attitude of BSNLEU leaders in Delhi especially the President & GS BSNLEU towards fulfilling the demands of TTAs.
i personally feel that my local DS of BSNLEU (Mr.Dhillon) is a great personality and he has done a lot for TTAs. He always understood our problems and gave us solution. He along-with our DS SNATTA (Rajeev Kr. Mandal) has solved many TTAs grievances.
Moreover i have personal relations with him for the last 5-6 yrs. It would be very difficult for me, personally, to face him in the next election. As most of the SNATTA's local demands has been met with his personal efforts. He is always been very kind to all TTAs.

i know Chandigarh has 75-85% membership in the hands of BSNLEU just because of the Dynamic personality and aura of Mr.Dhillon.
All have voted to Dhillon ji, i again repeat everyone voted in favour of Dhillon ji rather than Union-BSNLEU. just because of his helping nature. i want to clear doubts of some TTAs that we are not against Individuals but we are just following directions from our CHQ.

But the BIG question is whether we can overlook our local interest for the SNATTA's welfare in the long run.??

There is nothing wrong if you support or work for the support of NFTE though the local leadership of BSNLEU was/is/has been in good terms and extended possible help during the last few years.

Our support is totally conditional and the agreement is very clear and we go by it. Even while we support any union, we should have our own voice. It is not wrong at all.

We should be above any personal relation with any union or union member in our area. We must make it very clear to them that we are now with NFTE for the reasons x, y and z.

Be very clear. Tell them that we do not mean anything personal with them. Maintain good relationship with everyone. After all, we all belong to same organisation.

I have very good relation with EU and NFTE members too. And that is my personal matter.

It is the time we raise above the personal relations and look for some serious involvement in this verification process as it is important for each TTA to be united and bring victory to the one we have decided to be in communion with.

Goodluck young ones. May 2011 bring us goodluck and cheer. May this new year 2011 bring us all the good things.

At this time of year everybody thinks of discounts and gifts, well airtel's
new year gift for its subscriber is increased GPRS cost. Internet Browsing
on airtel will now cost you more if you are not using any GPRS Pack. airtel
issued a Public Notice in leading newspapers stating that Internet Mobile
Service charges will be revised from existing rate of 30p/50KB to 30p/20KB
from 5th January 2011.
*Also*, airtel started charging its subscribers for browsing airtel Live WAP
Portal at the rate of 30p/20KB from yesterday i.e. 28th December 2010.

In most of the SSA they count from date of appointment .If it is from date of joining then clarification should be issued by corporate office .due to this every member have loss of 2 or 3(Rs3000/year) month increment every year.
