We also faced those type of problems like open air scolding in union meetings etc. but the union which we are supporting in election must support us to settle the local issues. For example FNTO was in the BSNLEU belt then they joined with NFTE but their members are only members of FNTO only. During the election time each union looks us very afectinately and also accept our acts.So this is the right time to be SNATTA member only.

I think this the right time to rethink about our dual membership!
Why still we ride in two horses? Withdraw our memberships from other unions and pledge ourselves as the lone soldiers of SNATTA only. In our SSA we did this in June-2009 itself. Here in Thanjavur SSA, Tamil Nadu Circle our Circle Secretary Com.A.KaliaPerumal , Dist. Office bearers of SNATTA and my TTA friends all are ONE and ONLY MEMBERS of SNATTA ONLY! Our GM and DGMs well known about our Association and give due respect to our representatives in official functions like BSNL day celebration, opinion leader meetings etc. Here we are operating full pledgly as a separate association (union) also settled the local issues like transfers and others. So we can withdraw our subscriptions from Jan-2011.

If we go minutely through the Comments posted at/by BSNLEU, we observe that it is not poisnous but fruitful statement for SNATTA, the interpretaion may be incorrect :-

kindly read below (also attached file with the mail)
�Siliguri� National Executive Meet of NFTE BSNL Appeal to BSNL workers to
elect it in the 5th Membership Verification as majority union.
The Fifth membership verification is due on 01/02/2011 in BSNL.
NFTE BSNL appeals to all the employees to caste there vote on it�s symbol
(Nine hands) and elect it as the recognized union in BSNL. BSNLEU which was
enjoying the uninterrupted six years period as the recognized Union
completely wasted the status of a recognized union and thus deserves to be
defeated at any cost. Then only the future of the BSNL and its employees
could be safeguarded. BSNLEU lost all moral authority to represent the 2.5
lakhs non-executive employees in BSNL as it surrendered before the
management completely. It silently agreed for the denial of bonus, 78.2% IDA
merger, reservation to SC/ ST employees, job security and many other things.
The BSNLEU signed agreement with the management for 68.8% IDA merger
on 15thJan, 2011 despite the existence of the government order dated
02/04/2009 for
78.2% IDA merger profit based bonus and NEPP scheme without reservation for
SC / ST employees it pretended to be opposing these very things which were
agreed with the Management BSNLEU agreed shamelessly for reduction of staff
and was maintaining a silence for over four years on the CDA Rules-2006. The
CDA Rule 55 empowered the management to compulsorily retire any employee
after he / she attain the age of 55. For this betrayal alone BSNLEU needs to
be defeated in the verification.
While the government and the management were meddling with the
financial viability / expansion of services of BSNL, the leadership of
BSNLEU merely wasted time by fiddling like King Nero.
To carry favour with the Communication Minister (Shri Raja)
Com. Namboodri gave a �clean chit� to the corrupt Minister that no
irregularities were committed in the allocation of 2G Spectrum. Now the
whole country is shocked at the Mega Scam to the tune of Rs.1 lakh 76
thousand crores in the Spectrum Scam.
CAG unearthed the fraud and CBI is investigating the case. To self serve the
BSNLEU the six years period was utilized by them. Hence every employee has a
sacred duty to defeat the discredited BSNLEU at the forthcoming
5thMembership Verification.
NFTE-BSNL promise and record its sincerity to clean the mess and wrong
doings of BSNLEU if elected as the majority union.

finally state run Pan India 3G Mobile Service Operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam
Ltd (BSNL) joined the bandwagon of social networking sites and has come up
with its own official Twitter <http://twitter.com/BSNLLiVE3G>and Facebook
<http://www.facebook.com/pages/BSNL-Live-3G/153156771372949>account.
In other words, they are just promoting the 3G services via
Twitter<http://twitter.com/BSNLLiVE3G>and
FaceBook <http://www.facebook.com/pages/BSNL-Live-3G/153156771372949>. At
least they have been officially active on Twitter and FaceBook and
responding to most enquiries on its 3G and VAS.

there is an another good news for us. Since the day SNATTA joined hands with
the NFTE, lots of other Union ties up with NFTE as they knew that wherever
the SNATTA votes the success will flows.
SNATTA (All TTA's irrespective of Region and Batches) will vote and support
NFTE with its full vigor.
a History will be created in the upcoming Election/Verification. All Unions
will come to know that TTA's are Kingmaker always. SNATTA must show that it
can make or break the results. All are requested to put their best foot
forward.

You both are entitled for Medical reimbursement, If husband wife both are BSNL employees than they can get only one medical. If anybody wants to go on medical he will have to submit a LTC certificate in which he declares that his/her partner hasn't taken LTC for the same block year.: Sudesh

I do not think/feel that there are any DRTTAs who are supporting BSNLEU till date. Else, someone would have voiced their opinion.

BSNLEU alongwith reportedly 2500 employees severed their relation with
BSNLEU and have joined NFTE BSNL. The NFTE HQR heartily welcomes all the
comrades and offer greetings. The brave comrades of Gujarat have choosen the
right path by reposing confidence in NFTE as this alone can defeat BSNLEU
and remove discrimination and ill treatment. More desertions, exodus and
splitting from BSNLEU in offing as workers cannot forget how they have been
treated in wage revision, NEPP, 78.2% IDA merger, Bonus etc.Now workers are
determined to teach lesson to BSNLEU in 5th verification.*
