Hi friends,
What does all these unions want us to do regarding this historical strike from 20th April. BSNLEU, NFTE ,EXECUTIVE Unions All these people join hands now for what. Think deeply. They are just trying to safeguard their present position and their retiremnet benefits coz most of these gentlemen will retire between 2012 and 2016. They just want to drag the disinvestment until then. Do they really care what is gonna happen to BSNL after they leave. So even if these men succeed in this strike for 30% disinvestment how is that going to help BSNL in the long run. We are the ones who r going to be in BSNL after these people retire. So better go for disinvestment now and use the resources so that we compete with our peers starting right now.
There are more clinical points in the pitroda committee recomendation.We have seen how a full fledged govt run BSNL and full fledged UNION interference has helped us grow in our career. We have given it a try.The result of our growth is ZERO.Instead BSNL has gained a whole lot of people with knowledge and technical expertise. Moreover each of the Non executive unions have gained our membership and subscription.
The NON executive unions are now yelling that all employees must unite to fight the injustice done to them BLA BLA BLA. Where did these righteous minded men hide when the WAGE AGREEMENT TALKS went on and on endlessly with no fruits for the employees. Didnt these unions want the employees to get more salary. IF only these comedians of both unions united wouldnt have the strike for wage agreement succeeded with more percentage then now?
What are the chances that these unions will stand together in this strike. AS usual they will find their own reasons to fight out between them.
WHAT IS OUR POSITION IN THE STIKE CALL OF 20th APRIL.
Provide with some fruitful thoughts that are wise.

Very rightly said by dear Raja,we need to do introspection within,we should ask question to ourselves as whether we are an extension of the recognised union as its unit or whether we are an entity of qualified professionals unlike other with whole career in BSNL at the stake.
Time and again I have asked the leadership to take a stand on such issues that matters the most for BSNL Recruitees but to utter dismay everytime it has chosen not to speak its mind and stand out.SNATTA is an alliance partner of BSNLEU but we had offered support on some conditions ,it was issue base support if all remember,and none of them has been fulfilled,so why rally behind their leaders every time for their absurd demands,we should keep reviewing.Its call of the time and the stiff competition that we should disinvest and reduce those extra flab.
Instead of sitting with them I think we should forge a joint forum of the Direct recruit associations,SNATTA and AIGETOA and oppose the strike call given on 20th of April.The leadership should show its gut to speak against those who want us to follow them blindly and take the sinking Titanic 'BSNL' to the seabed.The rats leave the ship before it sinks, remember.We certainly should not be a part of this.

And also I want to ask what these guys have done for our promotion policy? even after completing eight years of service as a class C we r not able to get a single promotion. Where as the Direct JTOs who came with us all have become SDEs if not the Salary to that effect coz of the 5 yr time bound policy. We should get away from the strike.

Hi firends,
We should fully support in Indefinite strike on 20th April-2010 beacause:-
1. See the history of Disinvestement of Two Major Telecom sector VSNL and MTNL VSNL now run by private body and many staff have suffered too many problem including transfer, CRS, VRS etc. and information sources says that It was sold 1/10 time rates
2 MTNL have much more poor condition in share market News agencies say that MTNL is in range of Worst ranking share in International share market
3. ITS should be measure issue in Sam Pittoda commites
4. If naturaly more than 12 thousands employees are retiring every year (Eight year for 100000) then why it shoulde be done immeditely year as per Sam Pittoda Commite
5. No one says that what percentage of disinvestment amount will be paid to BSNL
