1. according to that the promotion u got in earlier rules and regulations OTBP and BCR
i.e the tta of 2000,2001,2002,2003 are selected on cda pay scale 5000-150-8000 whcih is equivalent to 7100-200-10400 in IDA scale. so the next otbp scale in central government is 5500-9000 in cda scale and 6500-13500 is the next scale.as per letter no
BSNL/26/SR/2002 dated 26-apr-2002
but they give jto that time 6500-13500 equivalent to 9850-14300.so in the existing policy we get jto scale in second promotion whose length reduce to 10 year instead of sixteen year as per central government rule.
in sixth pay commision
5000-150-8000, 5500-175-9000, 6500-200-13500 is merged and formed 6500-200-13500 with three grad pay. but next higher scale is 9300-35500 means sr sde scale. and grade pay promotion is fixed in span of 10,20,30 years. so minimum three promotion u got in entire service. which may further reduce in next pay commision as observed in previous pay commisions ( 4th( 16 and 26 year), 5th(12 and 24 year, and in 6 th (10,20 and 30 year).
dont confuse that management gave a cda pay scale. bsnl give us to IDA pay scale equivalent to
respective pay scale.
we fight in court for just pay scale revision as we all tta not signed any option document for choosing CDA or IDA.
we file case for CDA based promotion which finally convert into IDA scale
in this regard i consult with advocate.
for further confirmation, Mr amit gupta who fought our chq case is clear very well
2. under new promotion policy under which u got first promotion after 8 years 7800-225-11175 and after 8 years you got 8570-245-12245. in span of 16 year you got this scale. how about another next 2 promotion which is not decided yet.
in attachet letter 6500 scale is already equivalent to 8570 but they give 9850 for first 5 batches and after that they give again back to 8570 scale
my opinion
i opt existing promotion policy
instead of new one as in the span of 7 year service i already cross 8570 basic salary
if all tta opt existing policy instead of new one then ur promotion, job is secured even if disinvestment, change in management .
history is repeated now, the change is only that presently we are decision making body instead of bsnl optee.
decision is your, after all its effect to you
