3. Configuring & provision of Broad Band in Linux OS - reg

Dear All,
In our SDCA, we are facing problem in provision of Broad Band to some TN Govt Banks, in which their entire network is on Linux OS. Can any one provide the detailed steps to do the following in Linux OS:-
1. Configuring the NIC for BB working
2. Configuring the BB modem to work with Either net port in PC
3. Configuring the USB port in Linux and installing the Modem driver CD in Linux so that the BB modem works in USB in Linux OS.
Hoping to get the details from our friends soon.

It is good news that the EPF module is launched in MYHR of our BSNL.
I wanted to know that in this module can administrator modify the volutary rate of employees contribution. Previously I ask from my DDO he said that there is no provison in HRMS system.

Dt 10.04.2010. In reply to the representation made by G.S. SNATTA to reduce
the qualifying service condition under JTO LICE 35% quota, BSNL management
has shown its compulsion due to the contempt court case filed by TTAs
officiating as JTOs. Shri Satya Pal, C.G.M Gujarat had also earlier written
to CMD to give post based promotion to DRTTAs after every 4 years.
