Hello Friends..
I am facing new type of problem, Pls guide me
in multiplay subscribers the DNS obtion on login are
218.248.255.196
218.248.255.194 in the modem (always ON mode)
in LAN I have filled address as
IP add: 192.168.1.5
S. Mask : 255.255.255.0
D gateway : 192.168.1.1
P DNS: 192.168.1.1 (as told by JTO NIB)
Alt DNS: empty
our DNS are changing regularly so JTO nib told me to fill P. DNS as 192.168.1.1
But by using these DNS some sites are not opening such as www.trako.in, opendns.com, etc.
then I change DNS to 218.248.255.162 & 218.248.255.194. or any open DNS
after that these sites are opening.
PROBLEM IS IF THERE IS NO STANDARD IN THE DNS SERVER OR OVER DNS ARE NOT RESOLVING THE SITES PROPERLY THAN HOW WE CAN PROVIDE QUALITY SERVICE.......

hi..
the best possible thing to resolve this kind of problems is to ALWAYS use
Primary DNS as 192.168.1.1 and alternate DNS as 8.8.8.8.
tell me your experience after changing to that.

Sub: Revision of EVDO postpaid data plan tariff and sale price of EVDO data card –
reg.
In continuation of this office order of even No. dated 01.10.2009 and subsequent
order dated 13.11.2009, 24.02.2010 regarding postpaid data plans under EVDO service, it
has been decided by the competent authority to revise the EVDO data tariff as under:-
i. The promotional tariff with Fixed Monthly Charge (FMC) of Rs.750 applicable to
EVDO postpaid unlimited data plan which expired on 31.03.2010, will be continued
as a regular tariff.
ii. All existing EVDO customers will be allowed to migrate to this plan.
iii. All other terms and conditions will remain same.
2. The sale price of EVDO data card has been reduced to Rs.2500 (inclusive of all
taxes) w.e.f. 01.05.2010.
3. This may be brought to the notice of all concerned for taking necessary action in this
regard. Proper advertisement as deemed fit may be made to generate adequate response.
4. This circular is issued based on the approval of the competent authority in NWPCDMA
cell File No.69-03/2009-Tariff/Pt. For queries/clarification/feedback in respect of
above tariff, the communication may be addressed to GM (NWP-CDMA & WiMAX),
Corporate Office, BSNL, New Delhi.

ABOVE LINE IN UR MAIL, IS IT APPLICABLE FOR INTRA-CIRCLE TRANSFER'S.As i have pursued my case repetitively , MY PARA-38/8 form is approved from HIMACHAL SSA without substitute and it is pending in BHOPAL SSA for accommodation in Gwalior SSA since OCT-2007.Up to till now Apr-2010 i do not know my waiting list no in Bhopal circle........................
