adsl parameters: ideal readings?
I've got a vonaq500 adsl tester but as a beginner doing a normal (UK) adsl
test I don't know what would constitute ideal readings.
The readings given by the tester a

LIne Rate (kb/sec)
Attainable rate (kb/sec)
SNR margin (dB)
Attenuation (dB)
Output Power (dBm)

the first two readings are obvious but for the rest of them I don't know
how to tell what's good ot bad.
my own broadband always works fine and the readings I got from that we

up down
LIne Rate (kb/sec) 448 5408
Attainable rate (kb/sec) 1120 5984
SNR margin (dB) 24.0 9.3
Attenuation (dB) 17.0 32.0
Output Power (dBm) 11.9 19.8

this gives me a rough idea but it would good to know what 100% ideal
readings should look like. My ISP said the SNR upstream was a bit high but
didn't say what it should be.
Thanks for any advice.

Dear friends,
Once again we have proved our mettle. No need to loose the heart.
Chandigarh CAT has provisionally allowed all the 62 petitioners (TTA+BE+4 YEARS) to appear in the MT exam.
Now we are going to pressurise the BSNL managment to allow all the TTAs to appear in the MT examination.
Till then friends are once again requested to start the procedure to submit their farms for MT examination through proper channel.
Yours
Dhiraj Chaudhary.

Think
about this for a minute....

If I
happened to show up on your door step crying,

Would you care?

If I called you and asked
You to pick
me up because something happened,

Would you come?

If I had one day left

To live my life,

Would you be part of
That last
day?

If I needed a shoulder

To cry on,

Would you give me yours?

This is a test to see

Who your real

Friends are or if you are just someone to talk to you

When they
are bored.

Do you know what the relationship is between your two eyes?

They blink together,
They move
together,

They cry together,
They see
things together,

And they
sleep together,

But they never see each
other;

.....that's
what friendship is.
Your
aspiration is your motivation, your
Motivation is
your belief,
Your
belief is your peace,
Your
peace is your target,
Your
target is heaven,
And life
is like hard core torture without it!

It's

'Worlds Best Friends Week'

Who is your friend?

Send this to all your good friends

See how many you get back.

Life isn't about how you survived the storm....it's
about how you danced in the rain!
Fwded as recd.

TAKE NOTE    THIS IS IMPORTANT!

Subject: IMPORTANT:::: Never never do this!!

I do this all the time I guess I wont be doing it ANY more!

A few days ago, a person was recharging his mobile phone at home..

Just at that time a call came in and he answered it with the
Instrument still connected to the outlet.

After a few seconds electricity flowed into the cell phone unrestrained
and the young man was thrown to the ground with a heavy thud.

His parents rushed to the room only to find him unconscious, with
a weak heartbeat and burnt fingers.

He was rushed to the nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Cell phones are a very useful modern invention.

However, we must be aware that it can also be an instrument of death.

Never use the cell phone while it is hooked to the electrical outlet!

FORWARD THIS TO THE PEOPLE THAT MATTER IN YOUR LIFE!!!!
