Hi friends,
As I have received so many calls & mails on the issue of MT, as management again blocked the carrier path of qualified non-executives and all of our members become angry due to this injustice. Chq. feels the importance of this matter. & Immediately respond to Namboodiri Ji about this issue & letter with relevant information is already provided to him (same is posted on yahoo. group also). Positive side of our demand is the agreement with management in 15th National Council. Namboodiri Ji provides the relevant document & forces the management to allow all the qualified staff for MT as decided in NC.
So we have to wait for few days to know the response of management, if it is positive then its good for all & if the response is not as per our expectation then we will decide the future course action like legal help.
So please wait for the response of management.

Protest letter submitted to Namboodiri ji regarding exclusion of non-executives in MT RR
To
Shri VAN Namboodiri
General Secretary, BSNLEU
Secretary Staff Side, National Council.
SUB: Violation of NC agreement in the Revised Recruitment Rules of MT, (No. 400-106/2007-
Sir,
As per the Minutes of the 15th meeting of the National Council held on 30th July, 2007 with the BSNL Employees Union under the chairmanship of Director (HRD), BSNL Board (point no. 6.2) ,
"6.2. Recruitment of Management Trainees.
The Staff side referred to the recruitment of Management Trainees in BSNL for better efficiency and to effectively make advance in the competitive atmosphere and demanded that some percentage of this recruitment should be reserved for the non-executives, many of whom have the required qualifications, technical capability as also good experience. Reacting to the Staff side demand, it was clarified from Management side that in the recruitment rules under consideration, for internal candidates with BE qualification, a quota of 25 % is proposed without any condition of being executive or non-executive.
As it was agreed in NC that there should be no discrimination among the Executive & Non executive staff for the case of MT recruitment, same was followed by BSNL in the MT RR issued earlier and all the regular BSNL employees (executive or non-executive) having the required qualification were eligible for MT examination. But management defying its own login behind an earlier decision to allow non executive to appear in MT RR has again disrespected the agreement reached in 15th NC. The revised MT RR point 12 of schedule of management trainees in BSNL has allowed only the BSNL employees at or above the JTO and JAO level.
The MT RR has now blocked one more option for the non executives who are and have acquired higher qualifications in pursuit of higher promotional aspects.
So, I request you to strongly protest such violation of NC points & ask management to follow agreement reached in NC & allow all the regular BSNL employees in the MT Examination as internal candidates having desired qualification, without any condition of being executive or non-executive.

> dear friends
> so many of you have raised the issue, the discrimination of management towards tta's, as the management wants to take BE holders+jto+
> the MT posts are very less and the benifit is going to be less for the total strength. if we let the management do what ever it wants in this matter. the service condition for the JTO LDCE for BE holders can be reduced .which will benifit more no. of tta's. after the MT recruitment the management will also have less defence at their side in this matter.
> this is my opinion. i request all the readers to come up with their opinion. i want to know our CHQ opinion.
