   I have  no experiance in IPTV. It's still test phase in Kerala circle. But I saw a demonstration of IPTV on RTTC. It's Scientific Atlanta STB with HDD.  The picture quality is very good. VOD works like the contentes from local HDD. I never feel it's come through our old copper pair. It's fast. Fast Forwad and Rewind also works very well.

For better working of IPTV, we need better line condition than BB. Because for IPTV, need more bandwidth continuously than BB. We need better S/N ratio and low attenuation for better working of IPTV. I have some info about BB troubleshooting from Kerala Circle. You can download it from HERE .
