Thanks Manish ji..!!

i just want to clear here that even if we (TTAs) get awards now but it does
not mean that we earlier did not worked well its only that Management
recognised our achievements Now. We always worked to our full potential and
dedication. *And still there are many TTAs who are doing the same or even
better than us but waiting for recognition.*
I wish all of them a great success ahead.

paragraph and will utilize the same for our cause on an appropriate platform
and opportunity.

i am just representing my point of view which could be wrong in someone else
perspective.

*REPORT:- SHAME ON BSNL Top Mgmt & Indian Govt. >>> Tata Tele pips BSNL for
4th slot in wireless space.
*

*Tata Teleservices has become the country's fourth largest wireless telecom
operator* with 77 million subscribers at the end of August. The company
added 2.1 million new wireless subscribers in the month thus surpassing
state-run BSNL.

According to the latest figures released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority
of India (Trai), *Bharti Airtel the country's largest telecom
operator*continues to have the largest number of wireless subscribers
with 139
million at the end of July. *Reliance Communications is the second largest
wireless operator* with 113 million users and *Vodafone-Essar third
largest*with 111 million users.

*BSNL now is the fifth largest wireless operator* with 73.7 million
subscribers. A TTSL statement said, "The crossing of the
75-million-subscribers' mark by Tata Teleservices Ltd and Tata Teleservices
(Maharashtra) Ltd is all the more commendable as both entities have shown a
*subscriber growth rate of more than 100% in the last 12 months — from 38
million subscribers in July 2009". *

TTSL started offering CDMA mobile services in 2005 and received permission
for dual technology (GSM also) in late 2007 and started getting GSM spectrum
in January 2008. The company has started GSM services in most of the circles
it got spectrum.

*NOTE:-*

Due to irregularities in giving Promotion, Recognition, Career Growth and
Dues to the BSNL Employees specially the Junior Engineers (*TTA*) and *JTO*'s
working in the company, the BSNL workers continuing loosing their Enthusiasm
to work and excel in their fields. For instance, *In the last Ten years not
even a Single Promotional Departmental Exam is conducted by the BSNL Mgmt
for TTAs.*

the *Attrition rate is highest among BSNL Direct Recruited Staff. **
attrition** rate*, also sometimes called Churn* rate*, is one of two primary
factors that determine the steady-state level of customers/employees a
business will support. In its broadest sense, churn rate is a measure of the
number of individuals or items moving into or out of a collective over a
specific period of time.Most of the Direct recruited staff leaves BSNL
because of lack of career progression and job satisfaction.

Out of the five M's of the Business management (manpower, money, material,
machinery, method), the manpower is the most important aspect but......in
BSNL Management, its the most neglected part. how could we achieve all
around growth if the manpower is under utilised or manpower is not given its
genuine compensation (i talked about the career growth and promotional
avenues).

even the files pertaining to employees are being delayed or kept on table
unnecessary which makes workers irritated so their working potential is
automatically reduced. their are so any examples where people accuse deptt.
of unnecessary delay.

*i am ALSO not ruling out the role of Indian Govt *in creating hurdles on
the highway of BSNL. They did their best in supporting private lobby of
Cellular operators. They delayed several tenders of procurement, charged
spectrum fees from BSNL and at many times govt gave strategic advantage to
private players over BSNL. The marketing policies and HR policies are poorly
framed up which ultimately takes a toll on functioning of BSNL. There is a
great interference from different political parties or senior bureaucrats
which defers the step of improvement.

on the other side, due to such harassment to the workers, they resort to
Strikes, Dharanas, Gheraos or demonstrations which also hampers the
operations of the Company-BSNL. Even if almost all Direct Recruitees are not
willing to adopt the above said tactics But they find no Alternative.

but the BIG question, which still remains to answer, is Who Suffers at the
end..??

*the answer is the employees who work with full devotion, sincerity,
integrity and workmanship.*

*what they get after working for straight 8-9 yrs, a meager 700 Rs.
increment per year, with no hope of Promotion and atmosphere full of
Uncertainties.
*

now as we are loosing our market share consistently to other players so the
day is not so far when we will be compelled to say Pls don't give us
anything else but our SALARY per month. Now a slow fear among BSNL youth is
whether BSNL will Survive or not in the long run. as we are direct recruited
staff of BSNL so our Bread and Butter will only come from BSNL business and
operations. its sustainability is on top of the cards for *Direct Recruitees
especially the TTAs.*

in other PSUs every worker works with much more vigor and Zeal than most of
the BSNL staff. WHY..??

reason is they compensate well and there is a clear cut HR policies and well
define strategies to combat with ups and downs of Business Model.

sir, i wrote so much to you in such a haphazard manner but hoping that you
will definitely give a kind thought to my words, and if any chance given to
you at any platform you will raise our (TTAs) voice for promotion. sir,
there is a Court stay on our Departmental Internal Exam (JTO LDCE)* but as
there are no Officiating JTOs or any Diversion Case pending in Punjab Circle
so the Punjab Circle can easily go ahead with the LDCE exam soon.*

*sir, i could not hold down my inner-self so just shared my instant reaction
on the lackluster performance of BSNL year by year after reading the news
that BSNL is now lagging at number 5 position in Mobile connections.*

*i hope, i have not taken much of your valuable time and i believe that you
will surly understand the Inner Voice of a Young Engineer who has a long way
to serve this company-BSNL.*

and then click on gprs settings and then select for your zone and then select your circle
then type mobile no for which phone settings asked then u got pass word to that mobile then after entering the pass word go  to the second menu and select u r mobile make and model then configure u r phone.... Ganesh

*Assam's 4% entry tax may rock BSNL's North-East plan*
State-owned BSNL's expansion plans in the picturesque North-East could run
into rough weather. The telecom major faces the prospect of huge time and
cost overruns as loads of IT/telecom gear meant for its mobile, broadband
and landline capacity build-up seldom reach these parts on time. The reason:
a 4% entry tax that the Assam government levies on every piece of telecom/IT
gear that enters the state.

At present, BSNL buys nearly Rs 2,000 crore of project gear every year to
ramp up communication infrastructure in these insurgency-prone states, but
the bulk of it rarely gets past Guwahati on time.

Since not a single box of telecom equipment can enter any north-eastern
state bypassing Assam, critical gear worth hundreds of crores bound for
Mizoram, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya, Manipur or Aurnachal Pradesh have been
lying idle for months in Guwahati. This is despite the fact that none of the
north-eastern states levy a similar entry tax on the IT/telecom gear
shipments. *

Worse, ever since Mizoram, Meghalaya and Tripura were declared troubled
zones, all IT/telecom gear meant for BSNL's operations in these circles have
invariably gathered dust in its warehouses in Assam.

"The 4% entry tax levied by the Assam government is proving to be a major
deterrent that is hurting BSNL's operations and expansion plans in Assam and
North-East. Not only is it a huge additional cost that jacks up the final
cost of delivering telecom services in Assam, it also delays all our
equipment shipments headed for the six north-eastern states since Assam
cannot be bypassed," said a senior BSNL official with direct knowledge of
the problem in the region.

"As a result, the gamut of equipment meant for BSNL's mobile, landline and
broadband networks in the north-eastern circles piles up for months in
Guwahati as the cargo is seldom cleared expeditiously by the Assam
authorities. *This is hurting BSNL operations in the North-East circles*,"
he added.

BSNL buys some Rs 1,000 crore of telecom/IT instruments for its Assam
operation alone every year while another Rs 800-1000 crore of gear is
procured for the remaining six north-eastern states. The gear is a mix of
BTS, BSCs, MSCs, optic fibre cables (OFC), core control gear, end-terminal
equipment, which is particularly critical to BSNL's mobile and broadband
expansion plans in the region.

"Since Tripura, Meghalaya and Mizoram have been declared troubled locations,
all BSNL equipment meant for these circles have to be stocked in our
designated warehouses in Guwahati. It often takes months to ship critical
project equipment from Guwahati to the north-eastern circles," said another
BSNL executive based in Assam.
