Dear friends,

Till date, Direct Recruited employees were facing a limit, arbitrarily imposed by the DDOs that EPF contribution limit by employee will be equal to 12% of Basic+DA drawn by employee.

However, I have gone through the provisions of EPF Act and found an employee can contribute upto 100% of his/her Basic + DA. I gave an option in writing to my SSA's DDO to increase my monthly EPF contribution. It was then observed that in HR package the, EPF limit was fixed as 12% in HR Package and it cannot be varied. However the concerned staff took pain and spoke to IT wing at Pune, where, necessary changes were incorporated after referring the ruling.

Thereafter, now my EPF contribution has been fixed to voluntarily increased of 25% per month.

The Employer's contribution however, remains to 12% of Basic+DA.

Further, the pension contribution can also be increased to 8.33% of Basic+DA in employer's cont instead of existing common practice of Rs 541 per month, which will ensure a good pension amount to us after retirement.

EPF has an interest rate of 8.5% and can be withdrawn under certain specific circumstances.

Submit your willingness through proper channel to the AO (Cash) of your SSA/Unit to increase (1) your EPF contribution upto any limit subjected to a maximum of 100% of Basic + DA and (2) pension contribution from employer's contribution to 8.33% to secure your future.

Dear Rahul,
One has three options:-
1-Revision with effect from 01.01.2007 onwards
2-Revision with effect from the date of next increment onwards
3-Revision with effect from the date of next promotion onwards
The revised salary of an employee who joined after 01.01.2007 will be less compared to the existing one. The difference goes on increasing on each DA increase. If a new TTA opt for revision with effect from the date of next promotion onwards then he can continue in the existing scale up to next 8 years w.e.f. date of joining(time bound promotion comes only after 8 years)
But there is another question- whether this options are applicable to a new employee or not. In the wage revision orders it clearly states that the new employees will be placed in the revised scale. The revision is only for those employees who are on service as on 01.01.2007. So the option is applicable only to those employees who were on service as on 01.01.2007. But, in the orders regarding options it is not stated at all. So the SSAs are collecting options from new employees also. So if all new TTAs give the option of date of next promotion onwards, then, as seen in BSNL, some SSAs will give it and some won't. Many SSAs will ask corporate office for clarification. I think it will be a pressurising strategy for a re-thinking from the side of management and unions. Since the agreement is already signed, there is no chance for a revised fitment. But as per the agreement, chance for a pay scale up gradation is still there.
I am not sure about all the consequences. So I request to all the new comers to discuss it in detail, consult administrative and legal advice, and then take a collective decision.

Dear Ajay,
You are talking about the staff who are on service as on 01.01.2007. But the point of discussion is about the TTAs who joined after 01.01.2007. For them the best option is revision with effect from the date of next promotion onwards(we should seek administrative & legal opinion about this). If they choose this then they can avoid the loss due to revision.
Further more, if all new TTAs choose this option then it will initiate a pressure for re-thinking. The possibility of scale up gradation is still there(but no chance at all for higher fitment). Now management has decided to upgrade Sr.TOA's scale. Then why can't TTA's?

Here it is told by staff section that if we choose option as Jan-07, Arrear with revised pay will be given from Jan-10. DNI will remain unchanged. That is what we want. Option will matter for those who  got OTBP/BCR between 2007 & 2010. The calculator is ready and is sent to some for testing purpose. After that i will send to post it o group.

Dear Rahul,
One has three options:-
1-Revision with effect from 01.01.2007 onwards
2-Revision with effect from the date of next increment onwards
3-Revision with effect from the date of next promotion onwards
The revised salary of an employee who joined after 01.01.2007 will be less compared to the existing one. The difference goes on increasing on each DA increase. If a new TTA opt for revision with effect from the date of next promotion onwards then he can continue in the existing scale up to next 8 years w.e.f. date of joining(time bound promotion comes only after 8 years)
But there is another question- whether this options are applicable to a new employee or not. In the wage revision orders it clearly states that the new employees will be placed in the revised scale. The revision is only for those employees who are on service as on 01.01.2007. So the option is applicable only to those employees who were on service as on 01.01.2007. But, in the orders regarding options it is not stated at all. So the SSAs are collecting options from new employees also. So if all new TTAs give the option of date of next promotion onwards, then, as seen in BSNL, some SSAs will give it and some won't. Many SSAs will ask corporate office for clarification. I think it will be a pressurising strategy for a re-thinking from the side of management and unions. Since the agreement is already signed, there is no chance for a revised fitment. But as per the agreement, chance for a pay scale up gradation is still there.
I am not sure about all the consequences. So I request to all the new comers to discuss it in detail, consult administrative and legal advice, and then take a collective decision.

Dear Ajay,
You are talking about the staff who are on service as on 01.01.2007. But the point of discussion is about the TTAs who joined after 01.01.2007. For them the best option is revision with effect from the date of next promotion onwards(we should seek administrative & legal opinion about this). If they choose this then they can avoid the loss due to revision.
Further more, if all new TTAs choose this option then it will initiate a pressure for re-thinking. The possibility of scale up gradation is still there(but no chance at all for higher fitment). Now management has decided to upgrade Sr.TOA's scale. Then why can't TTA's?

Here it is told by staff section that if we choose option as Jan-07, Arrear with revised pay will be given from Jan-10. DNI will remain unchanged. That is what we want. Option will matter for those who  got OTBP/BCR between 2007 & 2010. The calculator is ready and is sent to some for testing purpose. After that i will send to post it o group.

this deputation is nothing but a picture of hell

the dearness allowance and other perks as per indian rules
which is very less for survivor in african countries.
the main work in the project is to install telecom equipment to provide communication facilities in african countries.

the climate is also worst. and no compensation package is offered by TCIL
i.e for the said project called volunteers more 20 times in last four years.
people opt and then come back at their own expense as u allowed only once in a entire project

Can
any body suggest me the course of action regarding my case . I was working at
NHPC for 2 years before I joined BSNL . since the exam of BSNL was done in 2000 and I joined
NHPC in 2001 i.e after I appeared for the exam of BSNL so I think the matter of
" Applying through proper channel " is not coming.
Again
when I joined BSNL ON THE attestation form I have informed about the fact that "
I AM WORKIN IN NHPC " and in the remark
where they asked for reason I had mentioned " SINCE I AM INTERESTED IN JOINING
TO BSNL HENCE RESIGNING FROM NHPC " .
And
while on resigning I had clearly mentioned that I am going to join BSNL hence resigned from this post .
Now the point is that my NHPC basic salary is much more than
that of BSNL. And as per clarification regarding JAO from corporate office it
was mentioned that pay fixation will be provided to them who are coming from
other departments .
So friends in my case will this be applicable to my case and
what are the steps I have to take in getting this fixation

Candidate against Direct Recruitment quota –

Sir/Madam,
Of late, this office had received
various letters from the Circles/ individual officials
regarding the methodology to be
adopted for pay fixation in respect of external
candidates appointed as JAO in
BSNL as fresh candidate against Direct Recruitment
quota. In this connection, it is
brought to your kind notice that methodology to be adopted
for fixation was spelt out in the
para (xi) of Terms and conditions for appointment of
external candidates as JAO in BSNL
circulated vide OM No. 4-85/2003-SEA BSNL dated
05.11.2004. However, since this
office is receiving a lot of correspondence on the issue
suggesting various methodologies,
the issue was examined in detail in consultation with
PAT Branch and Finance Branch and
it is clarified that methodology given in GOI (29)
under FR 22 is applicable for
fixation of pay of external candidates of other Departments
appointed as JAO in BSNL, as fresh
candidate against Direct Recruitment quota.
Illustration
An officer in a Government
Department in the pay scale of Rs. 7450-225-11500 drawing
a basic pay of Rs. 9475/- to be
appointed in BSNL in the scale of pay Rs. 9850-250-
14600/-.
Basic pay in Government: 9475/-
Dearness Pay (50% of Basic pay)
4738/-

and disposes off all the
clarifications/representations received from Circles/individuals on
the subject.

Dynamick locking facility is available in cdma WLL for that first activate it in ur HLR and follow the steps
 
step 1: Dial *23 XXXX XXXX
           Where XXXX is ur 4 digit pin no to be repeated twice
step2: after dialing above no ur pin no is activated in ur no and message of successful activation is heard.
step3: Now dial *24 XXXX N
           where XXXX= 4 digitpin no
                          N=2 --> STD facility lock
                          N=4 --> All calls lock
                          N=0 --> All calls allowed
