As the pre informed the meeting was held at the proper venue with the leaders of
SNATTA......
they just ask us 2 join their association.
situation to switch over any union....we told them that we'll provide moral
support to SNATTA.....but we r not going to join SNATTA in near future......
one important issue took place there.......
as many of us know that there is a case by SNATTA in the
COURT OF PANJAB & HARIYANA regarding diversion policy......
the story is something like that.......(

Consequences
1) On dated November 10, 1999 Vacancies of J.T.Os up to August 31, 1999 were to be filled up as per the Rules of 1996 and the vacancies after August 31, 1999 were to be filled up according to the Rules of 1999.
2) J.T.Os Screening Test was held on April 23, 2000 and an undertaking was taken from all the candidates who had appeared in the test that they would not claim appointments qua. The vacancies available after August 31, 1999 and were filled up from the successful candidates but still about 6000 candidates were kept in the Waiting List as it was a qualifying exam.
3) Vide letter dated August 09, 2001 (Annexure P-3), 500 vacancies of direct quota were diverted to 35% departmental quota and 500 Candidates of the Waiting List were accommodated in the year 2001.
4) 500 vacancies of direct quota were again diverted in the year 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 to 35% departmental quota to accommodate another 3000 candidates in the Waiting List.
5) The posts of J.T.Os of direct quota were being diverted to 35% departmental quota and the said posts were being filled up from the Waiting List candidates of the Screening Examination of J.T.Os held on April 23, 2000.
6) But the friends the BSNL management in a reply to Supreme Court on the issue of diversion said that these Diversions of outsider quota of JTO seats is temporary and when and ever the departmental quota of 35% is generated these outsider quota will be returned from the same.
Explanation: -
i) 500 seats diverted from Direct Quota to 35% quota as no Internal Quota existed after 1999 to accommodate these 6000 waitlisted Qualified TTA's.
ii) This process would have continued till 2012 if the Hon. High court would not have struck down this illegal diversion.
iii) In that case no internal exam could have been conducted till all these 6000 diverted DR JTO quota was returned back from 35% departmental quota. This means that if after 2012, 17145 JTO vacancies are created and then 6000 (35% of 17145) could have been reverted to DR JTO quota. So practically zero seats for 35% LDCE quota even after 2012.
If the suppose 2000 vacancies of JTO are created annually after 2012 then in 2020 we would have 5600 seats under 35% quota to fight amongst 15000 TTAs and god knows if Sr TOA are to be recruited the numbers would be unbelievable. In short we would have no insight into our future in BSNL.

And now SNATTA won the case at COURT OF PANJAB &
HARIYANA....
but now benefitials went SUPREME court to get promotion
benefit.....
so here SNATTA has to again fight against the present diversion
policy......
and this regard SNATTA wants economical support from all of us new recruited
TTA's (50 rs. from each TTA)........
we all TTA will be benifited...
as per present diversion policy the staffs below rank of TTA , who have joined
before us will become JTO before us.......
as per a calculation made by SNATTA......
us new recruited TTA's will be promoted as JTO upto 2022(Ya!!!!!

Dt 29.06.2009 A Special Leave Petition has been filed by BSNL Officers
Association against our Court Case filed in the Hon. High Court of Chandigarh &
Haryana. Friends, it is very essential for us to defeat this SLP in Supreme
Court as this would be the last frontier to be won to remove the entire barrier
in our career path. Conducting of JTO LDCE exam also very much depends up on the
outcome of this SLP. The truth is on our side and God willing we will surely be
able to remove this hurdle in the apex court as sooner as possible. The
affidavit against the SLP will be submitted at the earliest. All the DRTTA'S of
2002/2007/2008 batch are asked to rise to the situation and make our association
too strong to be defeated.
All the Circle Secretaries are asked to deposit Rs.10000/- (Ten Thousand Only)
at least as the contribution towards SNATTA fund (CHQ A/c no 204010100060738 in
AXIS BANK LTD, Rohtak, Haryana in the name of Sanchar Nigam Association of
Telecom Technical Assistants) for Annual Membership fee+ Court case Contribution
within week without fail.
