can anybody please tell me what is the duration of maternity leave for group-c and any letter for the same. as this leave is for 180 days in swami's book but our det says this is for executives only. is differnet type of leave rules are possible for same department?

DEAR,
I AM A EX-SERVICEMAN RETIRED FROM INDIAN AIR FORCE IN 2001 AND JOINED BSNL IN 2002 AND I HAVE PUT UP 20 YEARS REGULAR SERVICE IN THE BSNL AND AFTER FULFILLING FIRST YOUGEMENT I HAVE DECIDED TO QUIT THAT SERVICE AND JOINED IN BSNL (I HAVE PUT UP CONTINUOUS 20 YRS SERVICE IN INDIAN AIR FORCE).
NOW MY QUESTION IS TAHT AM I ELIGIBLE FOR THIS LICE BECAUSE I WILL BE COMPLETING 07 YEARS IN FEB 2010 IN BSNL. IF I AM ELIGIBLE THAT WHAT IS THE RULLING AND WHERE I WILL FIND IT.
KINDLY REPLY SOME BROTHER KNOWS IT.

i had a small doubt why goernment of india is not keen on saving BSNL.if it is really interested in doing so,it can order all the govt organisations and psu's to use only bsnl connections and not any other private operator's.it is very sad that even railways is also going for private operators.
i request this group to think on this.suggestions on this are invited and i request all the unions to think on this

falling of bsnl is due lack in service, very poor service,very poor responce at csc.................
