The services of state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) will be affected
April 20 with 300,000 employees of the company, including executives,
deciding to observe a day-long strike to protest any move to divest
government stake.
The employee unions have taken exception to the BSNL management's decision
to accept the Sam Pitroda Committee Report which favours 30 percent
divestment in the telecom company and voluntary retirement for 100,000
employees.
The strike call has been called by a joint forum of unions that has both
executives and non-executives as members.
'We have not heard from the management. We will observe a full-day strike
on April 20. The telecom services will definitely get affected,' the forum's
convenor V.A.N. Namboodiri told IANS.
Prior to strike, BSNL workers will also organise a massive protest at their
office here March 26, he added.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had set up the Pitroda panel, with HDFC
chairman Deepak Parekh and telecom secretary P.J. Thomas among its members,
to review the functioning of the company and suggest ways for improving its
financial health.

Download a copy of BSNL CO New Delhi (PAT Section) order no: 1-20/2009-PAT( BSNL)/NE( I) dated 01.02.2010 from Corporate Intranet or BSNLEUCHQ website.
Write an application to your head of SSA through proper channel enclosing and referring the above state letter which clearly indicates an "AND" between the increase in maternity leave as well as the special allowance for CC for women with disability.
Do remember to mention the "AND" referred in this letter.
In Pathankot (PB) SSA enhanced mat leave has already been sanctioned to the women employees.

In continuation with the camps and roadshow organised by me in the different locations with full success again management congratulates me and i m very much happy that with these type of activities and progress they believe more faith on TTA cadre inspite of non execuitve.Now what they feel they all waiting when all we JTO so that we are more hardworker than others ouch wood we must all.Friends again i wrote them if sachin tendulkar do that then why not am i ?

i get very happy to read your email as i myself involved in many marketing
camps for BSNL, Mohali and voluntarily giving technical and customer care to
more than 600 Data Cards (EVDO & NIC) in-spite of my hectic broadband duty.

hi.
great thanks to chandan again.. for this important update.
now its clear that UP West notification has wrongly mentioned the regular
service rendered by the employee in their circle only.
any TTA who has got transferred (para-38 mutual or without mutual), like i
got transferred from Haryana Circle (joining dt. nov 2002) to punjab circle
(joining dt. aug 2003), is eligible for LICE if he/she completes 7 yrs
regular service in group C on cut-off date
its a great relief for people like me who have service in 2 or more circles.
after UP west notification people like me were in a fix that we may loose
some of our service rendered in our parent circle.
but after talking to Chandan on phone, i and some of my frnds have a sigh of
relief.

Friends the following changes has been made for the LICE AT KERALA CIRCLE.
The letter contains the below message.
Sub: Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion to JTO
cadre under 35% and 15 % Quota in Kerala Circle.
Corrigendum
In partial modification to this office letter of even no. dated
20/02/2010 the following corrections may please be incorporated in the
notification.
1. The year of recruitment shown as '2009'may be deleted from the subject
as well from the notification.
2. The crucial date for determining the age limit will be the date of
examination ie 30/05/2010 and the crucial date for reckoning the regular
service condition shall be 1st July 2009.
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
